OverDhill Posted December 14, 2018 Author Share Posted December 14, 2018 Well after taking it apart I would have to say the scroll wheel is a 360 degree Rotary Encoder. I will know better when I test it with the BU0836X 12-Bit Joystick Board. The throttle axis is a pot as are the other rotary axis knobs. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

OverDhill Posted December 17, 2018 Author Share Posted December 17, 2018 Good news it seems the scroll wheel is a rotatory encoder much like the ones in some mouse models. I hooked it up to my BU0836X and it worked fine. They sell mouse encoder replacements of various sizes but I am not sure what size this one it. Fortunately my seems to be working fine.
