You can still fly with mouse if it's so much better… What were those aircraft manufacturers thinking when they installed those pitty sticks? lol.. I don't know what MAC has in mind, but I've seen how other arcade games have implemented the ease mouse flight, aiming and shooting .. Eve Valkerie you just had to look at a target to lock on; full sim players could be at a bit of a disadvantage competing. Sounds like HMD - we have it already in DCS: F/A-18C, Mig-29, Su-27 and Su-33. Sorry if missed some bird. I didn't hear of wars against those with VR or TrackIR sets because of their advantage. Is the visibility of the enemy aircraft going to be addressed and improved or is it simply going to be a screen filled with bubble gum style gaming type indicators like games and sims seem to be filling the screens with more and more these days? How that visibility is handled will be my deciding factor. I cannot see me giving up DCS world though. I like my aircraft to be as realistic as possible. Will I add MAC? I'm watching. Keep the info coming. Win 10 pro 64 bit. Intel i7 4790 4 Ghz running at 4.6. Asus z97 pro wifi main board, 32 gig 2400 ddr3 gold ram, 50 inch 4K UHD and HDR TV for monitor. Somewhat nitpicking, but the MiG-29 and Su-27 technically employ an HMS (helmet mounted sight), as there's no data presented, just an optically collimated reticle. It doesn't really compare to a proper HMD which also presents additional stuff like missile employment limits, critical flight information data, etc. i386DX40@42 MHz w/i387 CP, 4 MB RAM (8*512 kB), Trident 8900C 1 MB w/16-bit RAMDAC ISA, Quantum 340 MB UDMA33, SB 16, DOS 6.22 w/QEMM + Win3.11CE, Quickshot 1btn 2axis, Numpad as hat. 2 FPH on a good day, 1 FPH avg. DISCLAIMER: My posts are still absolutely useless. Just finding excuses not to learn the F-14 (HB's Swansong?). Annoyed by my posts? Please consider donating.
