BS2 is more or less working now, no? Just needs some cockpit fixes for the new lighting system.

I'd expect they'd implement those before BS3 is released, but I guess that would also depend on the amount of work required. Perhaps it makes no sense if it's a lot of double effort better focused on the BS3 upgrade.

Warthog 2, anyone?

I had hoped that this would happen for years. If it were, and Black Shark 3 would be made, I would gladly pay for it - but I agree, there has to be a different variant that adds to the experience. Ka-50N at the least.

Provided it's an update that substantiates it, absolutely.

I'm not sure I'd be able to justify putting down cash on a new cockpit alone, but if we got another variant with different capabilities? Absolutely.

Nice, but I hope they will come out with the Ka-52, as well.

Well, since the comments were about BS3 and not about DCS:Alligator I would assume that it'll be another Ka-50 variant.

If this was the case I'd purchase it too, but it'd absolutely have to be a new variant.

Will only buy it if it's a different variant with new capabilities. I will not pay third time for the same aircraft. A new variant would be very exciting though!

Chizh said, that it will be an upgrades Ka-50 (so something like Ka-50N or Ka-50Sh). He also said it will have a missile warning system (apparently 2 Ka-50 were equipped with such a system IRL) among other things.
