As the title says. Not a big deal to me because I dont use them, but am wondering has anyone else experienced this, and how might I fix it?

Mirror you need to enable in settings, if you subsequently change the value of the msaa from 2 to 4 or vice versa.

You must always delete the directory fxo and metashaders2 in saved games, otherwise they will not be mirrors showing.

I have deleted both fxo and metashaders2, I haven't touched my graphics settings for a while and it's not working. Mirrors are not reflecting. It's working fine in other aircrafts, only the Hornet is posing a problem.

Ok I've found where this strange issue was coming from. It's related to running a custom cockpit. Select the default cockpit in the special options menu and the problem will go away.

By the way, just to be clear, when I said "this issue" I meant the one described in the original post where the mirrors aren't reflecting.

Few updates ago all the mirrors went crazy. In KA-50 they are presenting something, in Su-25 there is some kind huge obstacle blocking the whole view in above mirror, the mirrors are not parabolic so you could see far wider area behind you, instead you are either looking your own helmet/face or then your weapons loadout.
