Cougar HOTAS files for the Gazelle?

It doesnt like "Centering Switch" because there is no Macro for it.

You are right ... just checked it and this is a three postition switch but with only two commands.

The best I can do with it is this:

BTN T7 /P Mode_Down
           /R Mode_Down
BTN T8 /P Mode_Up
           /P Mode_Up

This will work but it depends on two things:

1) I assume that the initial (at game start) switch position is Center

2) You will not move it manually with the mouse, but instead ALWAYS use the T7 / T8 switches to control it, or else the profile will get out of sync with the current position of the switch.

As you are using the Cougars Mode Switch for this, dont use the /U /M /D modifiers on the remaining buttons.

Best regards

... I thought I would have to do the whole X button thingy, thank goodness.

The X flags can be very useful, give them a chance when you have time to study the excellent manual that Dr. James "Nutty" Hallows wrote (its on Foxy's folder), this is an example that you can put on your files:

Rem ########################################################
Rem X22 : Initiate Eject sequence (hold TG2 & S3 & S4 for half a second)
Rem ########################################################

DEF X22 DELAY (500) TG2 AND S4 AND S3
BTN X22 Ejectsequence

On the Macro file, define Ejectsequence as:

Ejectsequence = KD (CTL) KD (e) KU (e) KD (e) KU (e) KD (e) KU (e) KU (CTL)

On this example, X22 is "pressed" when the trigger and buttons S3 and S4 are held ... the DELAY sentence is to add the requirement that the three buttons shall be pressed during at least 500 miliseconds. DEF defines the virtual button, and the BTN specifies what it does when pressed.

Cheers.
