So just to clarification:

Should BS3 work with 2.5.7 beta or not?

Because my buttkicker still does not work with BS3 and I do got error messages...

[SOLVED!]  For those just catching up:  There's a new SSA beta release that is necessary since last week's DCS update:

https://github.com/Simshaker-for-Aviators/SimShaker-for-Aviators-Releases/releases/tag/beta-2.5.7

Did last week's DCS update bork SimShaker for Aviators?  Was working nicely right up until then.

SimShaker Sound Module TEST works OK.

SimShaker for Aviators 'sees' me get in the jet and sets Model: F/A-18.

But the EFFECT Monitor now shows nothing being sent for any events in the jet.

Did 'DCS Repair Export' with no result.

DCS Debug View shows SSA is receiving data.

I'm getting similar results with the F-16 and the latest OpenBeta.

Hi, I did an update on a test disk and now get these error messages when I start SSA. I would like to avoid this for my main hard disk.
How do I do the update so that I don't get an error message?

Hello. Did anyone notice loss of SimShaker signal for F-16 and FA-18 recently (after OB update)? Engine rumble and afterburner disappeared for me, even if I dial them to 100. Other planes (F14, Mig15, P51) work fine. Any thoughts? I use beta SS and beta sound module.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Thanks for this, worked perfect.  Just had to export settings from old version and import to new one, everything I've tried works so far. 👍

Not quite completely solved yet. Even with beta 2.5.7 I'm not getting any SSA effects with F-15 or MiG-29 (perhaps all FC3 aircraft). If I look at SSA's DCS Debug Log, it's completely empty when in these aircraft. Works fine for the other modules I have.

FC3 support will be fixed in the next SSA beta

i just try 2.5.7 and F16 vibration feels different.

Still looking forward on BS3 😉 Thank you

BS3 is coming with the next beta. I've currently no joystick at my hand, thus I was not able to test everything. Flying a helo with keyboard is hard 😉
Which effect feels different for the F16?

First time I ran it I got an Index out of range or similar error and no feedback.

On checking I noted the simshaker.lua had not been updated. I had previously tried to add the Ka-50_3 manually like other mods, so I guess I may have taken ownership of this file.

I renamed simshaker.lua and ran the installer again and chose repair. This updated simshaker.lua to the new one and it worked with the BS3.

Just a heads up for anyone who may have tried to add it themselves.

Thank @f4l0 for such a speedy update.

F16 at runaway feels more engine vibration and feels driving heavy - like parking brakes on! - maybe it just more - difficult to say. Did you guys or DCS changes anything?

Thanks for 2.5.8 - I'll give it a try to see if it is different.

Awesome job 😉
