CH Fighterstick deadzone issues in P51-D

SOLVED- AutoTrim was ticked, un-ticked and all is well!

It may be in other modules but right now i'm learning the P51D so lets start there. I have deadzone set to zero and in the calibration screen it shows even the slightest deviation from the center axis in both X and Y and re-centers perfectly every time. The issue is in the sim when flying, I move the stick slightly and nothing happens for the first few degrees, then it (the game stick) jumps to the current joystick position all at once. Watching the stick in the plane shows this clearly, no movement for first few degrees of motion then bam, stick pops. It's like its storing the start of movement and then sending it all at once after 1 sec or so. After this first few degrees of movement all is well and inputs on the stick parallel my movements exactly. This occurs in both the X and Y axis. Do I need to set up a curve of some sort? Add a deadzone?

I posted this in the Input section also, maybe its just this module?

Thanks for any help, makes precision shooting/flying impossible.

Thanks Aurelius, Game Controller Settings points me to use the CH Control Manger and everything is perfect there. Dead solid, no jitters, perfect calibration just like it shows in DCS Axis Tune for X and Y. The slightest pressure on the stick produces the beginning of movement, can't imagine it being any better! I'm going to try it with CH Control manger closed out, see if that makes any difference. For DCS I don't really use it, I have a Profile called "Nothing.map" that resets all the buttons to DX mode and I just assign buttons per the "P51 Real" keychart in game.

Same results with Control manager closed. Here is a link to a short video of what is happening, keep in mind I am moving the stick very slowly for 2-3 seconds before it "pops" each time..

Make sure you don’t have any other controllers mapped to the stick X/Y axes.

DCS will try to map every controller attached to your PC. If there is a conflict the controls will jump around, because the game cannot reconcile two conflicting inputs.

Checked, nothing assigned but CH Control Manager, pic attached.

Maybe you have autorudder and/or trim active?

BINGO, you win Tintifaxl! I had Autotrim enabled (also saw the VR Headset was enabled for some reason). Unticked both, now the input is smooth as silk! Didn't see an auto-rudder option?

Thank you!

I think the Auto-Rudder setting is in the "special" settings for each WWII bird...

Not certain though.

Nvidia RTX3080 (HP Reverb), AMD 3800x

Asus Prime X570P, 64GB G-Skill RipJaw 3600

Saitek X-65F and Fanatec Club-Sport Pedals (Using VJoy and Gremlin to remap Throttle and Clutch into a Rudder axis)

Ahh, for the P51 all I thought all I had was something about degrees of hand movement, nothing else.. until I clicked on P51 once IN the Special tab. There are a few choices there, one is auto-rudder which was unchecked (though maybe it should be ticked as my rudder pedals are still in a suitcase and I use the Z&X pedals to move it, not a good solution)..
