The big question is will the FC3 Mig-29 get this too? Or is this a MOC only thing? I mean i bought LockOn, all the FC and MOC is offering me nothing, so i will not buy it. I know that this module is not meant for me but to bring in some new players. Would be interesting to know what ED's update plans are for the aircraft then available in two different modules. I mean if they still update FC3 why offering a discount for FC3 owner to get MOC? Ok, if you don't have some of the other modules coming with it. You also had to upgrade the FC versions to keep going...

FC3 MiG-29 and MAC MiG-29 are the same things.

Has a great quantity of other 3D models with the Su-34 not add / updated yet from the previously newsletters. Waiting by news about them.

Thanks for your reply.

Yeah, I've checked out your Roadmap thread (https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=116893) and I can assume then that the updated Su-34 and the others will come out with/sometime shortly after the release of Modern Air Combat

For those who wondered about delivering on wishes, just a few days ago I saw someone complaining (not sure which thread anymore), it may take some time but I see it happening, I think many months ago I raised how Audio is neglected across the software entertainment industry and DCS could be one of those things that breaks through in this area as well, and now on 27th July 2018 newsletter we got some audio updates. Hopefully the audio engine and options would also get some improvements, such as displaying the current sound setup (channel config, etc, as well as in SysInfo overlay), it's also vital that the captured quality also reaches what is then output in the game, not too compressed, or if size's an issue, why not an optional hi-def audio module in the future which would have studio-quality bitrates/khz, but then it's up to the user's speakers and configuration, I know PC HW is not ED's job but there should be some notes at install/readme/system specs to notify the users what are the recommendations experience the proper/full audio fidelity of DCS.

Many thanks! Send my thanks to the team!

Nice sneak pass from ED on bringing this out a couple of days after the Wednesday OB. I'm sure this radial engine model will serve well in developing other modules like the P-47 Thunderbolt.

Detail on the Yesterday Newsletter:

DCS World War II Update

An important aspect DCS World War II is the addition of additional player-controlled and AI aircraft. Some of these include the P-47D, Mosquito, A-20, C-47, Fw 190 A-8, and Ju-88. All of these are various stages of development, and they will serve a vital role in fleshing out the DCS World II experience in concert with the new damage modelling, new World War II era maps, and dogfight AI. As each of these elements progress to the point we’re ready to introduce in DCS World, we’ll be talking about them much, much more.

Today we’d like to show off some of the P-47D skins we are working on, as well as the Mosquito.

About the WW2 pilotable aircrarf P-47, and mosquito win positions. Interesting the new "maps"..... Western europa 44/45 by Chizh on the last interview, Normandy Expansion and l Germany?

NineLine, are you there? Could you please start poking texture artist about sorting out RAF roundels once and for all?

After 19 months of having incorrect roundels on the Spit, we can see in the newsletter exactly same errors being replicated on WIP textures for the Mossie. That's not even funny.

Arleigh Burk !!!!! Finally !! :cheer3nc:

Does an AOR ship is planned to complete the carrier group ?

Regarding the Hornet, it's important to note that we are now focusing on some of the more difficult and time-intensive tasks like making several fundamental changes to the air-to-air radar simulation (will have benefits with other modules), the Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System (JHMCS), and other systems we've touched on recently. As such, the number of new items for the Hornet will be less than before, but the same amount of attention and manpower is being devoted.

It was already so few to me… See you in 2 or 3 years for a complete Hornet. :cry_2::P
