Mirage over Caucasus Fighter Mbot DCE Mod

i will have a look in the evening :)

 

i extract the delivery only to:

C:\Users\<user>\Saved Games\DCS\Liveries\M-2000C\GC1_2_Cigognes New

 

with a upper case C @ Cigognes and then it works ...

 

don't ask me why :)

 

may be that lua.exe works case sensitive ?

Well i'm not sure but it seems that last DCS 1.5.7 patch broke 1L13 EWR like in DCS 2.1 :(

My last mission wasn't intercepted at all while Migs ans Sukhoy's were still really very active ...

I will try another mission later to test it again ...

Please tell me if you have the same problem in Caucasus now

I've been trying this out in coop with a friend for a bit. We can't talk to AWACS or other flights in the same package, despite being on the correct frequency. They also seems to be missing a callsign whenever they say things. Any way we can fix that?

There are lot of problems with MP sorry :(

It's not Mbot DCE's fault so I'm not sure this can be fixed without DCS changes ...

Hi. How do I start a mission with the waypoints, already inserted? Tried ‘manual start up’and ‘auto start up’... I don’t have the waypoints of the mission loaded. If I “move myself” to an AI wingman plane before takeoff, the waypoints are already on the“system”. I need to have the kneeboard always on… do I need to insert the waypoints myself? How? Thank you.

Hey PB0_CEF, recently I downloaded your Mirage on Caucasus campaign (fighter version) and for some reason the FPS for this particular campaign is a lot lower. It doesn't really drop way below 45 or so, but there are constant stutters. I don't get the same on Desert Mirage (Nevada), any ideas as to what's causing this? Thanks

Too many ground/air units maybe ? The solution could be to reduce the aircraft ready numbers to avoid too many static aircrafts (all usable aircrafts are really present on the bases) BUT this will cause less possible missions ... I will take a look at that ...

Thank you. That's likely a good reason. I noticed that as soon as I finished my first mission the next one was generated in a relatively short interval in terms of in-game time, so your guess might be on point. Also, do you think we could get a somewhat shorter (25 missions or so) Mirage multirole campaign on the Caucasus? I hate being the one to ask without really offering nothing in return but, one's gotta ask... :D

Hotfix 1 for Mirage over Caucasus-Fighter/Multirole and a new "Light" version for Mirage over Caucasus-Fighter to test a more FPS friendly campaign with less stutters...

Multirole Light campaign with 25 missions max will come soon if there's no bug ;)

Couple of questions. Haven't had much time to play, but did download this mission. I noticed the first mission for multirole is always the same (radar and support target in the mountains) . I've been having an issue taking them all out before we get attacked by CAP.

 

Does the campaign progress randomly according to the outcome of previous missions?

 

How do we get the F16 to lase for us?

 

How man missions in total?

Well many questions to answer ;)

 

-If you want to have an other first mission you can try to use the FirstMission.bat (more details in the readme file). You may have the same mission because it's a high priority target but it can be a CAP, a sweep or an escort too...

- Don't worry if all the target is not destroyed in the first mission. An other mission will be generate later to finish it (with you or other muds)

- DCE use a target list with priority and depending of planes availibility to generate missions. After this first target the more logical targets are EWR and SAMS or maybe Airbases. All this missions will be generate logically but also sometimes randomly...

- The campaign's goal is to destroy nearly all the ground targets or russian airforces but you will have 40 missions to do that (if you want it to be more you can change it) without loosing too many planes. I never had time enough to finish those campaigns (I have to restart a campaign after each update to test the first mission and the others ).

- The use of F-16 to lase targets for Mirage will depend of selected targets by DCE. At the moment AI use GBU very well but I was never able to use it against multiple targets because I'm not able to know which precise target is illuminated on a base. The best target is a Bridge... The F-16 will automatically lase the target near the zone (it's a script so it's not like a JTAC : no 9line nor F10 use)

There might be a bug with the module or the mission

I just started the fighter light (but it did happen in multirole as well), where there radar, HUD and RWR do not power on even though they are turned on.

 

Restarting the mission does in fact turn them on.. but wondering if this will continually happen as I progress
