A-10C Missions

U.S. strategic controlled Kobuleti airport has been threaten by a mechanize Russian force moving in from the east. We need to stop this unprovoked advancement! Maintaining control of this airbase has been determined vital to our national interest in this area. Unfortunately we are losing ground to the Russians. They currently control the operational airspace. For this reason the president as ordered in two FFG-7CL Frigates to provide us with a strong surface to air combat support from the west. Direct air support will be provided by three F-15c's assigned to cover the top end of the operation. Leaving the ground work to the A10c and Apache units. Our UH-1 has also been equipped for ground attack missions. Ingress southwest through the mountain valley which will lead you directly in toward the airport. What out for SAMs and AAAs in the area!

[sP] 1.5Beta - Ultimatum Warpig

Single Player

DCS World OpenBeta 1.5.1.47025

https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1550189/

Working on a campaign, however it'll take months, even years. Spent about 2 weeks making this first mission, would like to see if anyone enjoys it. No spiffy pictures or anything but the briefing should cover all the necessary info. Let me know how you fare.

Mission attempts to simulate an actual war, with enough aircraft to actual seem like it. Enemy armor is stationed around the airbase and will shoot you down so watch the weeds. On my system this mission typically runs 4-6GB's ram on top of opsys, so if you dont have 8 or 8+ this will prob be heavy on your system. Also I recommend at least a 3.2+ cpu all variable depending on graphic/traffic settings and opsys. This was built in the latest 1.5 beta as of today.

Mission time is around 2 hours. Although I only completed it once and it took slightly longer. Made some changes recently and now it should be shorter but probably not. You will need to resupply at least once, and refuel is available but not necessary.

The friendly aircraft act differently each run so sometimes there may be a bunch of friendlies supporting you and sometimes only a couple. Totally random and I didn't design it that way its just the nature of DCS. Good luck.

Version 2 takes away multiple tanker tracks, as if you switched the tankers track during AI AAR it would bug and the AI would refuse to disconnect or complete the process.

V3. Removed a tanker track message I put in at mission start. Adjusted the clouds to be not as thick, but still plentiful. Made sure all vehicles that were supposed to be hidden and shown are, adjusted some of the AI's loadouts. Enabled fog of war in map, whatever that does, didn't notice any difference probably because I have most units hidden.

My mission run time was 3 hours tonight. But I destroyed every last enemy vehicle. You dont have to wait you can send in the ground units before completing Tusk's tasking at any time. I also refueled once, and landed at Guadata twice, once to rearm, and the second to repair.

A-10C SEAD Training

Practice against various SAM / AAA threats with an A-10C.

This training can be used either as a single/multiplayer

This training mission allows A-10C's pilots practicing how to locate, engage and destroy various Eastern-bloc anti-air threats (both SAM and AAA).

The mission has two separate training zones.

* Zone-Alpha: is the training zone for radar-guided SAM's: SA-3, SA-6, SA-8, SA-10, SA-11, SA-15 and SA-19.

* Zone-Bravo is for AAA as well as for IR-guided SAM's : Shilkas, ZSU-23 emplacements, and SA-13

* For each of the above zones, the red area specified in the briefing map indicate where the threat is likely to appear.

* The training leader (who has to occupy the "LEAD_A10C" slot) can activate the desired threat through his communications manu (under F10 "Other")

The chosen threat will spawn _somewhere_ within the corresponding training zone.

* A text message would appear to all participants, indicating once a threat was activated.

* It is possible to activate more than one threat, and in more than one zone. I.e, the mission allows for two formations practicing each in a different zone and against different threats. The zones are far enough from each other so as to minimize conflicts between the groups.

Total available slots: 8x A-10C (Leader + 7 others)

T/O: Kutaisi, all aircraft hot-start.

WP's:

1: Center of Zone-Alpha (a hill, South of the town of Zugdidi)

2: Center of Zone-Bravo

3...7: are around Bravo (as seen in your TAD), defining the threats' possible area.

This mission utilizes MIST by Grimes - Thanks Grimes!

Have fun,

Assaf.

Operation Red Spear

Hey all! Snippet and backstory to my upcoming Op!

-July 22nd, 2020-

The totalitarian rule of Vladimir Putin ended in a civil war with Western backed freedom fighters taking much of western Russia, including Moscow, installing their own government, and slowly aligning the country to Western standards.

With Communist backed groups controlling most of Eastern Russia, NATO forces have been focusing on eliminating Nationalist fighting groups in the south, the Strongest being the New Russian Order who have created their own Nationalist state known as Tepava. US Forces have been working night and day on locating and capturing the leader, Terekhov Antonovich, as well as providing aid and support to the local populous.

US Forces have moved into the nationalist state capital of Gelendzhik and have taken the western side of the city and also secured the airfield there.

Eastern Friendship Mission 1 - A-10C Edition by Sedlo

VERSION 2.0 uploaded March 26, 2020

A10C%20TITLE%20JPG.jpg

DOWNLOAD HERE: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3300474/

Last night, a Georgian armoury was attacked by Russian backed separatist guerillas and a number of heavy weapons, including APCs, ZSU-23 Shilkas, were stolen. Intelligence suspects that the stolen armour is heading east in order to escape into South Ossetia. Your job is to provide close air support in the hunt for the stolen weapons.

SCENARIO:

This is a fictional, “what if”, scenario where Georgia had hurriedly joined NATO prior to the full scale Russian invasions of South Ossetia and Abkhazia.

NATO air power has begun staging at airbases around Georgia proper, and have commenced defensive air operations. Currently, NATO air forces are cleared to operate within the territorial boundaries of Georgia, and are cleared to conduct strikes to support NATO ground forces within Georgian Airspace.

Last night, a Georgian armoury was attacked by Russian backed separatist guerillas, and a number of heavy weapons, including APCs, ZSU-23 Shilkas were stolen. Intelligence suspects that the stolen armour is heading east in order to escape into South Ossetia.

This hostile group is believed to be made up of South Ossetian Guerillas, Russian SPETZNAZ forces and defecting Georgian Army personnel.

Badger 1, a joint Canadian / Georgian convoy has been dispatched to locate the purloined equipment before these criminals can escape.

MISSION:

You are the lead pilot of Colt 5 flight of 2 A-10Cs based at Kutaisi Airbase in northern Georgia. Colt 5 is sitting alert ready to support NATO and Georgian ground forces. Rumour is that Badger 1 is hot on the tail of the stolen armour.

The weather is not great, a low overcast of 10000ft will keep close air support right in the heart of the AAA and MANPAD envelope. We have already lost 2 NATO aircraft to hostile fire, so make sure to employ liberal use of flares when flying in proximity to hostile forces.

*****************************************

COLT 5 - A-10C x 2 CAS Alert 5

COLT 9 - CF-18 x 2 CAS Alert 15

FORD 1 - M2000C x 2 CAP Airborne

NTMR 4 - CF-18 x 2 CAP Alert 15

******************************************

MISSION NOTES:

1. ATC communications in this mission are scripted - you do not need, and you should not use, the standard radio menu to contact ATC.

2. You can use the Radio Menu to give orders to your wing man, and to get information from MAGIC.

3. This mission requires you to fly to, and over, waypoint 2 on departure, plus fly to, and over, waypoint 5 upon returning to base (UNLESS CLEARED TO TURN PRIOR BY MAGIC OR ATC)

4. This functionality of this mission's triggers and actions are

dependent on you NOT CHANGING THE WEAPONS LOADOUT! Doing so may break your mission, and that sucks!

5. DO NOT STRAY INTO RUSSIAN OR SOUTH OSSETIAN TERRITORY!

6. If you do make it back to base, keep in mind that you are in a combat zone and are expected to fly the overhead break to land. This way you keep your speed up as much as possible in case you are shot at. Plus it looks f'n cool!

Operation Persian Freedom

A10_Screenshot.JPG

I am pleased to be in a position to release part one of the Operation Persian Freedom campaign. Consisting of 4 missions, part one will see the player participate in the opening air war of a military campaign against Iran. Three further parts are planned and the story is written, eventually expanding to a four part, 20 mission campaign.

Fully voice acted, part one has represented a considerable effort and the first four missions alone account for over 2 months of work, with almost 700 voice overs recorded, 1200 triggers and over 50 pages of briefing documents and SPINS.

After several years of mission building in private and steadily gaining new skills, OPF represents the first content I have ever released to the community, I will therefore be greatly appreciative of any constructive feedback and I hope you enjoy!

Mission 1 has gone live today, I will be posting missions 2, 3 and 4 over the next week.

Campaign Features:

Take on the role of RAF exchange pilot Flight Lieutenant David ‘Steep’ Hill as he is assigned to the USAF 74th Fighter Squadron ahead of the imminent commencement of ‘Operation Persian Freedom’. This story driven single player campaign for the A-10C Warthog is set in the Persian Gulf in 2011 and explores a scenario where civil unrest in Iran, triggered by the Arab Spring has resulted in the violent repression of it’s citizens by the Iranian government and the use of chemical weapons on it’s own population. This chain of events has led to the formation of US led coalition with a mandate to invade Iran and remove the Iranian government from power.

Drawing inspiration from real life operations such as Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom, Operation Persian Freedom will challenge you through a variety of missions...from roaming ‘kill boxes’ in hunt of enemy armour to providing danger close CAS to troops in contact, flying airborne alert CAS patrols and supporting special forces in the hunt for WMD’s.

During the four part, 20 mission campaign the story of the invasion of Iran will unfold in compelling detail through a recurring cast of characters. The campaign will feature extensive in-flight dialogue, the ability to make choices and the chance to participate in optional in-flight conversations as well as providing detailed briefing documents, kneeboards and accompanying cinematics.

The campaign will also feature a custom ATC system and customised wingman commands.

Mission 1 available here:
