Will there be other payment options by then on the ED website?

I would have preferred to also buy DCS:BS from there but couldn't because i don't have an credit card.

Now im stuck whit direct 2 download......

I hope something like PayPal or click and buy would be added to the list of payment options.

+1

I'm very interested in a LockOn 2.0, but I have a few questions:

I guess Flaming Cliffs is needed?

I don't own Flaming Cliffs, because I don't own a credit card and so was never able to buy it.

Will Flaming Cliffs and the 2.0 upgrade be available for purchase with PayPay ?

Remember the [...] pages long thread about payment options for DCS: Black Shark.

Hope we don't have to go through that again :smilewink:

Thank's for a reply

So, after all we've been through and the fact that LOMAC/Flaming Cliffs had remained unsupported for quite some time until now, they're making this a paid upgrade?

US$ 14.99 sounds a bit expensive for an upgrade to a product that should have been developed, released and patched properly from the start in the first place. Oh well, I'm figuring out already I'll be forced to upgrade anyway so this is still great news for the Lock-On/Flaming Cliffs community.

"More realistic ranges, seeker guidance and fuzes for air-to-air missiles"

So logicelly BVR fights should become more exciting as the Amraam should be tuned up unlike the R27ET...

Expecting also the introduction of proximity fuzes :D bye bye barrel roll lol

Thanks ED great news! keep up the good work!

You must be joking? I knew I would see a post like this but I still can't believe it, speechless. 15 bucks.....

Can't believe it. ED shifted Christmas to Nov 17th.

No they didn't. In fact, they even delayed it since FC2.0 will be released in 2010....:music_whistling:

Personal Wish List: A6 Intruder, Vietnam theater, decent ATC module, better VR performance!

LoMac and Flaming Cliffs have been supported right here, on this site, for a long time.

ED has now taken the effort and expense to develop a new Flaming Cliffs product. This is not a cheap thing to do, and would only be possible if there is a revenue stream to cover it. To put it into perspective, the money you pay for an FC2 license might cover one hour of one engineer working on it. You are getting thousands of man-hours at the price of one. I am unable to see how that would be a bad deal. In fact it's a magnificent deal.

Please ED

Could you extend a little about the online compatible between DCS-BS and FC 2.0?

This means something like i could edit a mission in FC 2.0 with a couple of Su-25 and Ka-50, all clients, and i can run the mission in FC 2.0 as a server using a Su-25 and other mates running BS MP exe could connect and choose the ka-50?

Thanks for one of the greatest news ever.

Ok, that's an acceptable, mature answer. Fair enough. I didn't say a word, then.

That's pretty much the idea, yes.

Just wanted to get this out of my chest:

will feature all the flyable aircraft of Lock On: Flaming Cliffs and include several fan-requested upgrades to aircraft, sensor, and weapon systems.

- F-15C locked target IFF indication

- More realistic ranges, seeker guidance and fuzes for air-to-air missiles

- More realistic electronic countermeasure operation and performance

MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH...

/breaths

...haha

Hope you guys have wide screens ^^^^^:D :D

This is highly unlikely.

GG already responded above to a question asking wether the flight models would be at the level of the new Su-25 added in FC (1). The response was "No".

Unless this was meant as a "No, even better" I think we can assume that the new flightmodels will NOT be as high fidelity as Black Shark's, but just improved over their old flightmodels.

?!!?

I'm not talking flight models but graphic details here, if they're on a DCS:BS level FPS should be similar!

Will the mission editor maintain 3d view (satellite view I think it's called)? if so, will DCS:Ka-50 pilots be able to edit our mission through that editor? (or perhaps will be also ported to DCS mission editor...)
