-Painter-
To add one request: I am on version 1.2.9.2 and have to set my Microphone Boost all the way down to -90%. I fly a lot on the Blueflag server and from experience I would say that more or less 90% of the new SimpleRadioStandalone-users have to tune their microphone boost down - significantly down, like 90%. Nearly all of them are more or less not understandable at all when they just jump in with the default Microphone boost setting. I would ask you to set the current "-90%" Microphone Boost setting as the default value and label it as "0". From that starting point users can apply a "+" Microphone Boost if they are too quite. That would be an amazing improvement for all users because it's hurting in the ears when a new guy jumps in with a radio check and blows your ear with a cracking noise like a starting jet engine next to it. Paganus
Howdy all, I must be a bit thick. I'm having trouble figuring something out. I am trying to get the "in game radio display" branch from post 1187, working on my machine. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2983324&postcount=1187 I see the new script in the package but I haven't figured out how to make this work yet. If somebody using it could point me in the right direction? Any help would be appreciated. @Ciribob - Will this new display be fully integrated in the standard install at some point? No rush, no worries, I know you have your hands full, just curious, as it solves some problems. Thanks

cypher_142
No worries at all... Server side setting where as follows : coalition security-on Spectator audio-on Line of sight-on Distance limitation-on Irl radio tx behaviour- on All other setting off...... version 1.2.9.2 server side and client side During the test we tried the below with coalition off and distance limitation off....this did not fix the issue.....only turning line of sight off did... Awacs player was in command slot actually in jeep in ca....but we also tried from the f10 map... Yes Awacs player had been in an aircraft prior to test...we where also switching to see if it was a problem with either one of our installations...all during same session....however we did try reconnecting after changing server settings.....than repeated the above.. It was strange because we found that we could communicate if we where both in a ca slot....all radios worked fine....how ever aircraft could hear us but we couldn't hear them.....problem persisted We even tried on 2 mhz fm with the mi8.... myHelljumper
Hi there Ciribob, nice to see some update on SRS:). I think is would be more logical if the viggen radios were reversed, because the FR24 is a VHF AM only as the FR22 is a VHF AM/FM and a UHF. If we look at the 2000, the first radio is the VHF/UHF and the second radio is the UHF. The important point is that the first radio should be a VHF AM and the second radio should be a UHF. I hope you understand me ;). Helljumper - M2000C Guru Helljumper's Youtube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCK3rTjezLUxPbWHvJJ3W2fA

SoW Reddog
The radio exports a JSON file containing all currently connected clients and their name so the way I'd go about doing it is when someone tries to join a plane slot, you disallow them the slot until their name appears in the file. Might be worth PMing DEADBEEF as he did that as part of the Kaukaus Offensive campaign. Where does the JSON file get exported to? I'm guessing we could mod the SRS source to output a CSV as well? Thanks for the info. I'll have a look and see if there is a bug with the line of sight code. Obviously there is no Line of Sight for a Spectator / GCI as you're not associated with anything and the code should just ignore the test. Hi there Ciribob, nice to see some update on SRS:). Are you trying to use the incockpit PTT (the actual physical one) or the SRS Hotkey? Are you sure you've got the radio selector switch on a working radio (green dot on SRS overlay ? ) Where does the JSON file get exported to? I'm guessing we could mod the SRS source to output a CSV as well? Just gets exported to where ever the server is run and replaced every 30 seconds or so with a file of the same name. Feel free to submit a patch for CSV as well but for further processing, JSON is a handy format as its pretty much natively read by everything under the sun and will give you a complex object back you can work with straight away. Downside of CSV is you'll have to build your object back up again (only minor issue though ) :) Scripts: Complete Transport And Logistics Deployment - CTLD / CTLD Examples - Lots of example of how to use CTLD CSAR Script - Downed Pilot Rescue / Dedicated Server Script - Automatically launch DCS Multiplayer server at startup Range Scoring Script - Get scores and counts hits on targets for gunnery or bombs / SimpleSlotBlock - Multiplayer dynamic Slot Blocking Script Projects: DCS-SimpleRadio Standalone - DCS Radio Integration for All Aircraft - NO TeamSpeak Required! :) DCS-SimpleRadio Troubleshooting Post / DCS-SimpleRadio Free Support Channel on Discord
-Painter-
bump ...just in case you havn't seen the post @Ciribob To add one request: I am on version 1.2.9.2 and have to set my Microphone Boost all the way down to -90%. Previously i haven't had this issue. 01:42:06 Ciribob.DCS.SimpleRadio.Standalone.Client.UI.MainWindow Started DCS-SimpleRadio Client 1.2.8.1 01:42:06 Ciribob.DCS.SimpleRadio.Standalone.Client.Input.InputDeviceManager Found 6f1d2b60-d5a0-11cf-bfc7-444553540000 Instance: 6f1d2b60-d5a0-11cf-bfc7-444553540000 Mouse Usage: Undefined 01:42:06 Ciribob.DCS.SimpleRadio.Standalone.Client.Input.InputDeviceManager Found 6f1d2b61-d5a0-11cf-bfc7-444553540000 Instance: 6f1d2b61-d5a0-11cf-bfc7-444553540000 Keyboard Usage: Undefined 01:42:06 Ciribob.DCS.SimpleRadio.Standalone.Client.Input.InputDeviceManager Adding 6f1d2b61-d5a0-11cf-bfc7-444553540000 Instance: 6f1d2b61-d5a0-11cf-bfc7-444553540000 Keyboard 01:42:06 Ciribob.DCS.SimpleRadio.Standalone.Client.Input.InputDeviceManager Found 0002e0ff-0000-0000-0000-504944564944 Instance: 5e9c5850-67a8-11e6-8001-444553540000 G3 Usage: -253 01:42:06 Ciribob.DCS.SimpleRadio.Standalone.Client.Input.InputDeviceManager Found 0002e0ff-0000-0000-0000-504944564944 Instance: 5e9f1770-67a8-11e6-8002-444553540000 G3 Usage: Consumer 01:42:06 Ciribob.DCS.SimpleRadio.Standalone.Client.Input.InputDeviceManager Found 075c06a3-0000-0000-0000-504944564944 Instance: 5e9fb3b0-67a8-11e6-8003-444553540000 Saitek X52 Flight Control System Usage: Generic 01:42:06 Ciribob.DCS.SimpleRadio.Standalone.Client.Input.InputDeviceManager Adding 075c06a3-0000-0000-0000-504944564944 Instance: 5e9fb3b0-67a8-11e6-8003-444553540000 Saitek X52 Flight Control System 01:42:06 Ciribob.DCS.SimpleRadio.Standalone.Client.Input.InputDeviceManager Found c22d046d-0000-0000-0000-504944564944 Instance: 5ea07700-67a8-11e6-8004-444553540000 G510 Gaming Keyboard Usage: Consumer 01:42:06 Ciribob.DCS.SimpleRadio.Standalone.Client.Input.InputDeviceManager Found 508106a3-0000-0000-0000-504944564944 Instance: 342976e0-67ab-11e6-8002-444553540000 Programmable Hotkeys Usage: Consumer 01:42:06 Ciribob.DCS.SimpleRadio.Standalone.Client.Input.InputDeviceManager Found c22d046d-0000-0000-0000-504944564944 Instance: 5ea16160-67a8-11e6-8005-444553540000 G510 Gaming Keyboard Usage: VendorDefinedBegin 01:42:07 Ciribob.DCS.SimpleRadio.Standalone.Common.UpdaterChecker+<CheckForUpdate>d__2 Running Latest Version: 1.2.8.1 01:42:07 Ciribob.DCS.SimpleRadio.Standalone.Client.Audio.AudioPreview Error starting audio Output - Quitting! I've double checked, the only way this error can occur is if your system is missing the resampler that SRS uses internally to change audio to the right format. I'd double check by just reinstalling this: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=53356 (this is the windows 10 one) and restarting your PC. Should fix it :) bump ...just in case you havn't seen the post @Ciribob I've not added this to the release i'm about to post but I will look into it :) Scripts: Complete Transport And Logistics Deployment - CTLD / CTLD Examples - Lots of example of how to use CTLD CSAR Script - Downed Pilot Rescue / Dedicated Server Script - Automatically launch DCS Multiplayer server at startup Range Scoring Script - Get scores and counts hits on targets for gunnery or bombs / SimpleSlotBlock - Multiplayer dynamic Slot Blocking Script Projects: DCS-SimpleRadio Standalone - DCS Radio Integration for All Aircraft - NO TeamSpeak Required! :) DCS-SimpleRadio Troubleshooting Post / DCS-SimpleRadio Free Support Channel on Discord
Ciribob
New Release Version - 1.2.9.5 .NET Version - PLEASE INSTALL THIS or it may not work: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=53345 Windows 7/8/10 N Users - PLEASE INSTALL THIS OR IT WILL NOT WORK - Adds the media codecs you need which are removed in the N Version - https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=48231 - You'll know when you get the audio initialisation error :) Thanks for all the help testing and feedback! This release has the best version of audio quality so far for simultaneous transmissions. If you do hear any garbled audio, try turning off the radio voice effect (bottom of settings) and post recordings here or PM me :) For best results, separate the two most used radios to the left and right ear configurable under settings :) Changelog Changes to Audio Mixing! Viggen Partially Implemented - Thanks to aemvee ! Spitfire Implemented - Thanks to Tarres! Fixed L-39 Intercom Volume in cockpit Re-ordered Viggen Radios Made the Radio Voice effect temporarily configurable (check the bottom of settings) Fixed Line of Sight for GCI / AWACS Note: Backup favourites file before updating or they will lost when SRS is updated As always, thanks for the support and let me know if there are any issues! This version of the client is compatible with the last server release so no need to rush to update the servers. It is also backwards compatible with the last client release as well but I recommend updating clients ASAP  DOWNLOAD THE LATEST RELEASE: https://github.com/ciribob/DCS-SimpleRadioStandalone/releases/latest Edited March 31, 2017 by Ciribob Scripts: Complete Transport And Logistics Deployment - CTLD / CTLD Examples - Lots of example of how to use CTLD CSAR Script - Downed Pilot Rescue / Dedicated Server Script - Automatically launch DCS Multiplayer server at startup Range Scoring Script - Get scores and counts hits on targets for gunnery or bombs / SimpleSlotBlock - Multiplayer dynamic Slot Blocking Script Projects: DCS-SimpleRadio Standalone - DCS Radio Integration for All Aircraft - NO TeamSpeak Required! :) DCS-SimpleRadio Troubleshooting Post / DCS-SimpleRadio Free Support Channel on Discord
