I am having some minor issues with my common TrackIR profile,, works great for some other Modules I have but not so well for my BS2. I did some searching and could not find any threads dedicated for just the BS2 TrackIR profile. I would be interested in collecting a few more and tinkering a bit. if you are interested, please post up your current TrackIR profile for all to share. Many thanks.

  • 2 weeks later...

Finally remembered to reply here while im actually at my DCS PC. Instead of my work PC..

My Track IR settings for pitch, yaw, X and Y all look somewhat like this.

P.S.

This is for me a universal setting. I use this profile for DCS (any module), Arma 3, Eurotruck Simulator 2, Assetto Corsa and City Car Driving.

The only difference is that for DCS I switch on the Precision setting. While I make do without; on the other games

Any chance you can open that file in TrackIR and save it with a different, distinguishable name? That is a default file name and it creates 2 of the same to select from. And switching between the 2, I cant see and distinguishable differences?

They are also named inside the file. Open it in Notepad++ or similar. It's somewhere in the beginning. It's possible to edit.

Well, the profiles are all about personal preferences, the main reason for having them.

The best for you is to create your own, a little tedious but worth the effort.

I certainly agree with most of that. My personal experience in the past was that I spent more hours than I could count using Gerry Abbots GREAT tutorial and wound up with an improved and likable profile. But I was not really satisfied and could not seem to achieve what I wanted. I eventually received a profile from another person for the A10C profile. It changed everything! With just some minor changes, I was very happy and have been using it for many years. I could go on of course, but I think I made a point? Sometimes someone else had a different approach and yielded more favorable results,,,,
