Su-25T Modelling

man, at very near max gross, the 25T flies like a B-52 and forget about maneuvering with a severe load imbalance on the wings. Try and kick a 90 degree bank with rudder and the imbalance and she is near ready to spin right out from underneath ya. I ejected to low and saw my canopy splat on me .. yuck.. the 25T is too addictive.

Can't wait the AFM for the FLanker and Fulcrum

Of course it would be nice for ED to put a pylon selection control in LO-MAC to avoid such serious imbalances especialy when deploying ASMs that all tend to be shot off the left side first.

AFM for Flanker and Fulcrum won't see you fly them that much differently. ;)

I agree with Olgerd, there is definitely a difference between the 25T and 25. There should be a difference between the SFM and AFM.

The difference is because the Su-25T has the same engines as the 25 but is aerodynamically different and heavier. It's a flying brick. :icon_lol:

Olgerds quote is talking about the difference between AFM and SFM. Not the difference in 25s. Both the su-25 and 25T have AFM.

I don't think the 25s have this capability IRL.

If so, I am affraid that there will be much difference.

I am not scared. Actually, I am anxiously awaiting AFM on the rest of the flyables. If it must only the Russian birds, that would be fine. I dream of non scripted landings( it is kinda fun to slide down the runway in the Su-25T like on ice :icon_wink ) in the figthers as well as load balancing effects after weapons are deployed.

It would also be nice because you would have to taxi the figthers for real, not haul a$$ without fear of blowing out a tire.

This is the difference I am dreaming of.

My girlfriend does as she supports my fight simming hobby(obsession) I taught her how to take off and land on the carrier and she thinks she is hot $hit now with a big grin on her face

The Su-25T even floats on water... for a while.. I crashed (slowly) into the water the plane went under for a second and was killed, and then it came up to the surface and bobbed around a few seconds and then it sank.... Really cool!
