[ALREADY REPORTED]AIM-9 Does not Slave When Selecting SLAVE on SMS

When AIM-9 is selected and ready to fire with radar target and AIM-9 in BORE SMS selection, changing to SLAVE does not cause AIM-9 seeker to slave to radar LOS.

Expected behavior is that AIM-9 immediately changes behavior similar to pressing and holding enable button (changing BORE to SLAVE by hands on select).

It's already reported. For now, you need to press uncage for aim9 to slave to the target.

Or cycle the enable switch

So, can we expect to simulate real behavior like depicted in this picture:

i.e. if SLAVE selected and lock-on established the missile diamond is automatically slave to the target designator box (still small diamond) and after the good tone and uncage command is selected the missile diamond become big and self track the desired target?

How is your missile diamond centered in missile reticle?

I have no idea. Maybe yours is tied to HMCS and your helmet is on and isn't pointing straight?
