AJaromir
Tried in multiplayer, game version 1.5.7.7741 When flying with wing tanks switch off and there is fuel in wingtip tanks, then the fuel is not consumed. You can see on fuel indicator the fuel amount will decrease to 600L and stop there. It will start drop again only when the wingtip tanks are depleted. GeorgeLKMT
Infinite fuel would mean you can fly forever. Is that what's happening? Fuel indicator stopping at 600L and then resuming after wing tanks are depleted is indeed a correct behaviour. ■ L-39C/ZA Czech cockpit mod ■ My DCS skins ■
AJaromir
Yes but if you never deplete the wingtip tanks (wing tanks switch in off position) Then the fuel in wingtip tanks will not be consumed so the indicator will never fall bellow 600L. I will make some more tests. Edited July 25, 2017 by AJaromir
GeorgeLKMT
The switch only controls the caution light, that's all. The fuel from wingtip tanks will always be consumed when the amount of fuel in the center tank reaches 600L. I can't test this myself, so fly so more to verify, whether the fuel comes down or not. ■ L-39C/ZA Czech cockpit mod ■ My DCS skins ■
Justin Case
I just flew for more than an hour in the L-39C, we landed with about 200 kg. We didn't run the tanks dry but it seemed to be working correctly. http://www.masterarms.se A Swedish Combat Flight Simulator Community.
JG14_Smil
I've emptied many a tank, even going bone dry once. The wing tip tanks work just like George explained it.
AJaromir
Did you have wing tank switch turned off for whole time and did you start with 100% of fuel, please? I am going to test ir right now. Yesterday I did not have enough time.
AJaromir
O.k. It is not bug. I am sorry to all. It was just a coincidence that made the impression that there was a bug in the game.
