They are probably trying to estimate how many users have 32 bit in order to prioritize for future development.

Upgraded to a Win7 x64 system the day I downloaded the release version of DCS A-10C.

The "catch" is that this will help inform Eagle Dynamics about priorities, to ensure that it spends resources at the right place to help the greatest amount of customers.

 

Though... That's not really a "catch" if you ask me. :P

 

EDIT: I so should stop having 10 windows open on each screen... I lose track of time and end up sniped by 200 people. :P

I feel like I know what it's all about. Maybe I'll try to ask straightforward. Does ED Team plan to abandon support for 32bit OS? Does it become to generate problems i.e. like with memory management?

I have Win 7 x64 but I use freetrack so running DCS A10 in 32-bit mode. :(

I was on Windows 7 32bits but moved to 64bits because of DCS:A10C.

But i'm still using the 32bit DCS binaries for Freetrack. :P
