kiwikidd
Hello Guys I always was frustrated about the Start up Procedure and thought by my self, why not creating a Start up manual. So I used the Start up You tube Videos provided by Wags as resource and created a pictured manual. All pictures where taken ingame and I pasted them then into a Word Document in a numbered order with some explanations. The file is now available as PDF Document. This is my very first Version of this Manual. It represents the current Beta Version and will always be updated if its necessary. If you want to give it a try so you can download the PDF File below: EDIT: 20-06-2011: Updated to Version 2.3 Some things have been update acording to INS alignement. MB_StartUP_Manual Cheers for the manual, looks great. I put it onto the iPad so it's really handy to use when starting up.

Moggster
MB, 1st off thank you for making this guide. I have a huge favour to ask of you though...sorry. I've downloaded your guide to my Kindle (no printer I'm afraid) but it only displays in greyscale. Is there any chance you could make the grey font colour for Locs & PNLs under each step darker (or even black would be better for my Kindle) as I cannot read it? Cheerfully withdrawing my request. I went out and bought a printer...saves me squinting at the kindle! :smilewink: Edited August 4, 2011 by Moggster 'Any new pilot is still dangerous. They know just enough to get themselves in trouble. After another five hundred hours of practical flying, learning how to use the aircraft, I'd say they were pretty safe. If you're still alive at a thousand hours, you must have it down pretty good.' - Chickenhawk
LcSummers
Thank you LcSummers, that i exactly why I made this guide. Welcome to the Community, have fun with it and don´t hazitate to ask if any question occure. MB, So i take the chance: i found some corrections. That made it easier for me as a newbie. BUT i have learned your sequences and i can start up my bird. I dont critisize you and never dare cause with your help i am able to give live to the bird. Corrections for me: As i said its for beginners: Lighting Control Panel: Searching for the Pinky switch. Didnt understood and didnt know how to: So i searched the forum how to get power on those lights. In my opinion its easier if put the key for activating lights: Activated lights via LCTRL P and then use the dials. Activate TAD on left MFCD. Last point was: enable Nosewheel steering. Kraz75
Very helpful doc. Couple of things I missed in my own startup procedure. Thanks. Maybe just add the Nosewheel ON at the end, in case it's not. I couldn't find any reference to it in yours. Otherwise all good.
