What is the WWII Asset Pack

I understand this is a pack of assets to populate maps, but how is it actually used? Is it only useful when constructing missions? Will the assets appear in any released campaigns or missions?

If a campaign or mission commercially released for the WWII planes uses them, does the end user have to have purchased the pack to make it work?

Thanks.

You need to own the Assets Pack if you want to play in any mission (SP or MP) that uses units from the pack.

I'm pretty sure most of the future WW2 stuff (campaigns, missions, MP servers,...) will use the pack.

You can get the pack practically for free (~ 3$) if you buy the Nomandy+Pack bundle now during the pre-release phase.

Specs:

It's been a long time since my last visit to the forums but I need to ask is the asset pack included with the map for those who backed the project years ago?

Yes. If you check your backers page you should see a separate serial number for the Asset Pack.
