noah895
ED, although I do appreciate the bird sounds for some nice white noise, hearing the birds chirping over a Pratt and Whitney R2800 is a bit much haha. There is not one aircraft in DCS that is a hybrid which might allow for listening to birds singing. Is there a way to tone it down?
ED Team btd Posted June 19, 2020 ED Team Share Posted June 19, 2020 (edited) This has already been discussed more than once. Please read other topics regarding P47 sound. In DCS there is not a single such engine, the exhaust of which goes through the entire body into the tail of the aircraft into a turbocharger. Therefore, in DCS there is no other airplane that sounds like that. It should not sounds like other planes. But which map do you use? maybe we need to volume down the sound of the birds on this map ;) Plz attach track or/and video. ED Team btd Posted June 19, 2020 ED Team Share Posted June 19, 2020 I think I found what’s the matter. Here a little confusion seems to have arisen with the ambient files. We will fix it. Partially, their volume will be reduced, partly other files will be used. Thanks for your report. track or video is no longer required Best regards, Kanstantsin Kuzniatsou (btd) https://soundcloud.com/btd
