HiJack
Need more testing but DAWS Package is working fine in DCS World 2.5 here. Just use the DCS.OpenBeta\Saved Games\ folder for all files except the MissionScripting.lua, that needs to be edited on main DCS scripts folder. EDIT: But we need to run MOOSE in mission to really get a good combat environment. And CTLD of course. Edited February 5, 2018 by HiJack
HiJack
I run a test now on a mission that uses MOOSE and it seems to be working fine. At least the DAWS saves mission file. Can someone explain what the problem should be with a MOOSE made mission and DAWS?

HiJack
will test myself in the coming weeks. Sadly those are times of big changes in my life (new house), free time has been reduced to zero. Copy. I made a test now running a MOOSE and CTLD scripted mission and it seams that the scripts does not load in the DAWS saved mission. Was that the problem folks had before? As far as I can see all the scripts is in the mission file. I will continue to investigate ;) I don't expect any help from you chromium, take care of your self m8. I just unload my findings here :)
HiJack
Done two more tests with some changed script options but neither MOOSE or CTLD scripts loads on the new saved mission. It does seem like the scripts are there and the file size in increased so ... I will look at the mission itself now and run a compare to see what's missing. chromium
consider that DAWS will replace any missionscripting.lua file with its one at any mission start. Also, MIST does not have to be loaded. Said so, I will investigate as soon as possibile... but don't expect very soon updates, as said I need some time to rebuild my daily life. chromium
The problem is that I don't have free time to update the script in those months, due to personal and professional reasons. I hope to get it up before the summer. chromium
I think it's not compatible at 99.99 %. Never tested, I don't even remember if I released the internal built compatible with 2.5 testing version. Alpenwolf
Ok, If you had released the compatible internal version, and you wanted to give it to me, I'd be happy to test and report to you. Bye! +1 I'd love to test that for you as well. I'd love to have this mod so I can have data saved every time the server crashes/restarts. Which makes me wonder what mod/script Ciribob uses for his BlueFlag... S! Alpenwolf
It looks like the mod is completely incompatible with the current relaese version of DCS 2.5. I'm using JSGME and I see no DAWS Package tab under "Special" in the "Game's Options" section. Anyone else? chromium
It wont' be compatible till I will have sufficient time to rework it. And it's not going to happen shortly... chromium
Updated with working version for 2.5.2 for testing: I need your feedback https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=192588&highlight=DAWS PLEASE, IMPORTANT NOTE The main DCS folder (the one in C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics) MUST BE NOT PROTECTED FOR WRITING. Else you will get a generic error message in the dcs.log and DAWS simply won't work. PS scenery object persistence is working, so now if you kill a bridge.. the bridge stay killed in the saved files if you check the option ;) Edited June 26, 2018 by chromium Author of DSMC, mod to enable scenario persistency and save updated miz file Stable version & site: https://dsmcfordcs.wordpress.com/ Openbeta: https://github.com/Chromium18/DSMC The thing is, helicopters are different from planes.
