Automan
Still the bort cut is not fixed though. Here is the default livery and the polygons of the bort are not adhering to the fin In my livery the problem is so much evident when zooming in MV In Fin Here in nose (wireframe clearly see the shifted polygons cut) ACER Predator Orion 9000: W10H | Intel i9-7900X OC@4.5Ghz | 8x16GB Crucial Ballistix Sport | Sapphire GTX1080TI | Intel 900P 480GB | Intel 600P 256GB | HP EX950 1TB | Seagate Firecuda 2TB ACER Predator XB281HK: 28" TN G-SYNC 4K@60hz ThrustMaster Warthog Hotas, TPR, MFD Cougar Pack, HP Reverb Pro
Nightstorm
- Confirmed, works perfectly, Well done! Was it just the bort1000 number you reckon? Yea that was the only difference I could see. It was obvious by the naming where they should go in the livery. Of course omitting the decal from the BORT numbers won't impact any texture alignment bugs that cropped up. If I zoom in close on my pre-BORT skins using this code in my LUA I can see a light misalignment. As was stated previously, that can only be resolved by the modeler. If someone wants a copy of the F-16C model before the BORT texture changes were introduced, I have one: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ja6ddt4y3kr77xc/F-16C%20Aircraft%20Model.zip?dl=0 This was the version of the F-16C from 2/14/20 with 2.5.6 updates. So it includes the afterburner textures etc. It would simply ignore the additional BORT textures in your textures folder. I tested it and it works fine, but I would imagine it won't pass IC. Also, staying with an older copy of the model won't allow you to have any updates or new features that get added to it. Personally, I'll go with the current model and the BORT lua changes for custom liveries.
speed-of-heat
thanks for the suggested fix for the bort numbers it worked well for me except if i put a nose number in the 100's on the left or right otherwise it works fine! TWISTER312
please explain Dear Viperfriends, please forgive me, I started to use DCS only two months ago, downloaded a couple of fantastic Netherlands Air Force liveries and discovered, just as you all, that after the recent update some false textures appear on the tail and intake. I read your solutions carefully, but have to admit I don't understand the instructions to get rid of these false ones. Can one of you please explain what I have to do? Thanks a lot in advance. how to upload image on internet [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

I read your solutions carefully, but have to admit I don't understand the instructions to get rid of these false ones. Can one of you please explain what I have to do? Thanks a lot in advance. The first thing you should do is contact the person who created the livery. There is a pretty good chance that he is already working to resolve the matter. Some skinners have developed so many liveries that it takes a while to fix things once they are broken by an update. If you do not hear from the livery developer after a while, let me know and I will fix them for you. - Livery Catalog - Youtube channel

It took me a while to scroll along all the forum topics, but luckily I found the solution which was handed elsewhere. ST0RM
Seems that Custom Args overrides EVERY skin now. Even if placed into only one skin. I used it on the 1960s Polished jet and then none of my other aircraft had a tail number.

Paladin1cd
Is there a way to have the payload bort number always override the numbers on a livery now? Many used to and now some overlap and I'm trying to figure a way to fix that. Thanks.
