aceofspades9963 Posted February 4, 2019 Share Posted February 4, 2019 Just noticed that you can only designate a TGT with the HUD when you have bombs selected in auto. In the real aircraft you can designate a point on the ground with the hud regardless of having bombs. Pretty much the same way the A-10 does it. Also you can range that and have to Coordinates displayed as well but that's probably part of the AG radar. Just wondering if this is in the works to be implemented , I know the jhmcs ground designation is planned but didn't hear anything on the hud designation. It would be useful to have because you can keep track of a tgt area on the fly, sometimes you loose sight of the tgt when you are turning around to attack. Will be very useful when implemented. There are a few related items such as this HUD designation, the Flight Director bombing mode and AGR ranging that will all add to the experience.
