2nd aircraft, yes, it does. That's the pilot's callsign.

Hello, friends! I once again need your help. I'm looking for the pilot's name for this airplane and the emblem on the fuel tank

Maybe someone saw good photos of this Hornet...

VMFA-323 "Death Rattlers", Serial : 164698.

the emblem on the tank is the Death Rattlers snake, you can see it on this (ugly) image


I couldn't find a better pic with the emblem itself...

Kinda tacky to call this ugly. It's a characature and it intentionally distorts the lines.

The artist is a friend of mine and he's very, very good at aviation art. He does these for fun and on request from the squadrons / pilots and actually sells a great many prints.
