Are there AI planes also in there?

Negative, except for AI bombers to escort / intercept.

Most missions will have ground targets or other stuff to do if few players are online, but the focus of the server is PvP.

Cool server. I had fun tangling with 2 different F-86's on separate occasions. No hits on either side, and I was able to bring my MiG home for another day.

will jump on this one again. Nice to see more interest in the Korea Jets.

Had a quick fly on your server tonight. DCS and SR ran well, no issues.

I was a little confused about channels, the brief pic had one set and the brief listed different ones.

Found 1 MiG to chase. Spiraled from 20k to the deck when he spotted me. Lost me in the weeds.

Please consider some GCI.

Thanks for the server.

Roger, thanks for the heads up. Fixing channels now. The missions have gone through a lot of iterations, sometimes I make a fix to the Briefing images and forget to update it on the sidebar.

Will look into possibilities re: Korean War era GCI.

This is an east-coast, U.S.-based server.

No p51D?

you know, those actually those took part in the korean war. ( in ground attack support)

If you make way for a Huey ( which was not around in korean war), then you could make room for p51 im sure especially since it was historically flown in that war by the USAF.

That was a bug, now fixed, all missions have only your own A/C visible.

Personally I would even prefer no A/C visible, but this is a concession for "play-ability" (for now).

No p51D?

There definitely will be F-51s. Designing missions around combined F-51 and F-86 operations is a little tough, I just need to work on it more.

As far as I'm concerned the Hueys in right now are a placeholder until

Hey SeaQuark, loving the server so far! The bomber intercept mission is pretty cool:

attachment.php?attachmentid=160244&stc=1&d=1491317947

The only thing I would mention about this mission is that it may be a tad bit too late in the evening. Gets to be a bit difficult to spot the enemy fighters once you drop below the contrail level during dogfighting. I get why you want it a bit later though, since I adds other issues to worry about (landing in a snowstorm at night with these old jets are interesting to say the least). If you do change the time, probably would only need like 15-20 minute difference, but obviously that's up to you. Either way, I will continue dropping by the server as I am having tons of fun :pilotfly:

Thanks for the feedback Medic!

I get what you're saying. I'm going to try for the best of both worlds-- I am adding a 2nd wave of bombers, which will basically make the mission longer, and then will roll back the time so the first wave is more during daylight. But the mission will still end in darkness when you RTB.

Be sure to use your NDB for navigation, turn on instrument lighting, and remember, you can use the radio menu ("Other" F10) to request a signal flare / airfield illumination on the way back.

As long as you are focusing on the bombers as per mission briefing, spotting enemy fighters shouldn't be too tough for either Red or Blue-- those contrails stick out pretty easily.

The second wave of bombers will be a very good addition! That should solve the issue I was talking about with the daylight and dogfighting as long as the waves are appropriately spread out a bit.

In the picture I posted above, I forgot how to turn on the cockpit lights in the Mig-15.... the next time I flew that mission I looked it up before flying :) I mainly posted that picture because I thought it looks cool coming down into the flight for the attack.
