In the weekend news, there’s mention of the Thunderbolt. I haven’t paid much attention lately but is this a forthcoming module? Or is it strictly AI for the WWII battlefield?

Both, although most likely will be available as AI first, If I recall one of recent NL's posts correctly.

Cool. I’ve always had a fondness for that aircraft—well, the Razorback actually-but I can live with the bubble canopy.

Thanks for the info.

P-47D ?

I saw that post, and all I saw was

blah, blah, blah upcoming Mosquito module blah, blah, blah

Weird...

;)

(don't know about now, but I think at one stage it was supposed to be the next WWII nodule - one of the kickstarter modules...)

When the discussion turned to whether any upcoming Mozzie module would be a full DCS module, or a DCS.Light module, the reply was :

I think that the terms "high fidelity" or "low fidelity" are not valid for the new announced grade of modeling. It's better to consider it as a earlier stage of the early access, because the airframe, prop and engine modeling are at the same level as for the full grade models. Having system modeling at the level of generic allows to reduce development time adding a new plane to the set. If the plane is interesting for users, full grade systems will appear for sure.

That doesn't read to me as "Don't worry about the fidelity cause there's no module in the pipeline anyway" - does it to you ?
