Presenting. Markindel's

MD Helicopters MH-6 Little Bird

The Boeing A/MH-6M Little Bird (nicknamed the Killer Egg), and its attack variant AH-6, are light helicopters used for special operations in the United States Army. Originally based on a modified OH-6A, it was later based on the MD 500E, with a single five-bladed main rotor. The newest version, the MH-6M, is based on the MD 530F and has a single, six-bladed main rotor and four-bladed tail rotor.

*** 7/1/18 ***
***Full list of available versions at the end of this post.***

Features,

Custom cockpit, with clickable controls
Including Master Arm.

Five Liveries

Fully animated and armed.

This Helicopter was a Gift to me from Mario for my birthday.
We missed the date by a long shot, but I think the results are worth the wait!

Please note,

To make this work, you must copy the Bin and FM folders from the KA-50 into the Little Bird main folder.
Also, copy the IndicationTextures folder and the Scripts folder from the KA-50 cockpit folder into the Little Bird cockpit folder.
DO NOT copy the Textures or Shapes folders as these contain custom files needed for this mod to work as intended.
Finally, copy the mainpanel_init.lua file from the Little Bird main folder into the cockpit/Scripts folder.
Allow overwrite.

Grazi Mario!
A fantastic gift indeed!

Enjoy and.....
Have Fun!

Little Bird Up-Date V 1.02 Beta

Please download the zip file below and UN-zip.
Inside you will find a folder with the same name as the installed folder.

"MH-6 Little Bird"

Copy the extracted folder to the same location of your installation and allow overwrite.
You do not delete, remove or otherwise change your present install.

The folder from the zip is meant to be copied to the main MH-6 directory
In your current install location.
This replaces key files and adds new ones.

If you use a mod manager, be sure to dis-able the mod first.

Included in this up-Date,

1) Cockpit texture issue has been fixed.

2) Two seat option!

You can now switch seats using the number 1 and number 2 keys while in the cockpit.
All controls will continue to work.

3) New FM and engine data.
She now flies more like a small Helicopter!
Please leave your impressions!
Feed back will help with further mod development.

4) New Guide located in the doc folder!

Thanks go to Stratos for putting the guide together for us!

In PDF format

One note, we have removed the in cockpit pilot.
He was causing a issue with the second seat position.
We think the trade off is worth it.

More improvements are being worked on.

Stay tuned............

Have Fun!

New up-date and version available!
See post #67
*********************************

After much gnashing of teeth and pulling of hair,
We have, I hope, a working version which includes ALL the fixes and changes.
The clean glass,
Numbers,
Second seat.

Please note, this does not include any of the gunners from Patrick's mod.
It is a up-date to the original.

You must copy the Bin and FM folders from the KA-50 into the main folder. Then copy the scripts and IndicationTextures folders from the KA-50 cockpit folder to the MH-6 cockpit folder.
DO NOT copy the shapes and texture folders from the KA-50!
Finally, copy the files in the "to replace" folder into the MH-6 cockpit/scripts folder and allow overwrite.

If you would rather the dirty glass version, the first release will still work.

Do not use different versions together!
It WILL cause conflicts.

First post will be up-dated.

Fingers and toes are crossed............

Good luck and......

Have fun!

Just ans FYI there's no Cockpit folder in the Little Birds folder so you have to make one

Also what do you do with the SHKAL folder and the Config lau file...There no instructions in the mod to tell us what to do. I assume you copy and paste those into the scripts folder with the mainpanel_init.lua Thanks
