I'm curious to see if this extension is the northern Turkey, the north-east corner of Turkey or the northern Armenia. :)

I have a question regarding the current sale. The combo price of the Normandy Map and WW2 Assets Pack is $59.99. The combo price of the Normandy Map, WW2 Assets Pack and Combined Arms is $57.00. Why would the addition of Combined Arms reduce the price?

Please, forgive me if I'm missing something obvious.

IIRC, that Normandy + Assets special was supposed to expire when Normandy was released. I am more puzzled by the CA combo due to the fact that the Asset Pack does not work with CA yet, and probably won't for quite some time.

The shots of the Caucassus map in particular look amazing. Would love to see some mountain shots as well in the future, as well as some winter shots.

Would also love to know how far out it is from release, at least whether it will be coming before the SOH map? I have an itch to go back and fly some Blueflag, but have uninstalled 1.5 :)

Su-33 is looking great and with those extra bits of fidelity I might have to take her for a spin once she gets updated, it's been a long time.

Does this include a new Kuznetsov along with an upgraded Su33?

Not in this update, but later as a seperate DLC: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2659915&postcount=13

wow now i can switch to su-33 instead of su-27

but in the news letter, kuznetsov are shown much more than su-33 itself. maybe this carrier upgrade is also in sight?

I've never operated from the Kuznetsov ingame, but I thought its model looked way worse than what I see on the screenshots in the news update. Is this really the old model?

Yeah, I hope the Kuznetsov DLC (which I suppose is shown in the newsletter) is not too far off after the Su-33 update.

The adaptations that make the Su-33 aircraft-capable have been updated and improved to include the wing-fold mechanism, reinforced landing gear struts, and the inclusion of high-gain nose wheel steering for use on crowded carrier decks.

I assume that they intended to say 'aircraft carrier capable'.

Yes, I tried to draw attention on that on the previous page of this thread, but I guess I was too subtle :D

What are the upright poles on either side of the ramp for? Seems like a hazard.

They are radio antennas and I would expect to see them folded down during flight operations. I hope that ED doesn't leave them erected on the ship model.

This makes the Su33 the most simulated plane in FC3. The step to a full fidelity sim doesn't seem so big anymore. The systems are certainly less complex than the Hornet. I wonder why they just don't do it.

If they are allowed to do a PFM, I can't believe that the rest is classified. I person would put pay full module price for it.
