Just sanity checking, there seemed to be nothing in there from Razbam, is that correct?

I hope they mean those pre the 2.5.5 patch, they looked way better, especially the winter trees.

And perform better I hope :music_whistling:

Dear ED team, please keep posting the patch notes to this thread instead of linking it to the site where it is rather hard to read due to the lack of contrasts (The Shades of Grey). Or make the site more legible, like taking over the colour scheme of this board... cheers!

How does one think the website is harder to read. There is more contrast there than here on the forum.

Hi, can your team copy all contents of patch notes to the forum thread as previous times?

I'd like to see those contents in the forum thread as usual, and it is faster loading speed in the forums for me.

+1 I’d like too see it in the usual way. Thanks. :D

Contrast is relative depending on what you can actually see...

Bg = 240, 241, 240

Font = 51, 51, 51

So it doesn't look too bad in numbers, but since the modern web fonts are antialiased, they're naturally blurred at the same time, making them blend more with the background. I have much less problems reading hard-bordered unaliased edgy pixel fonts.

Now the problem rather is, with the almost complete lack of these, it's just very hard to read black on white, and even harder to read dark gray on light gray. Just adding colour to the background alone makes it a lot easier since it doesn't have the "look right into the sun" effect anymore. Another way to deal with it would be turning the whole site into a dark mode. Most probably literally none of you can "reproduce" this issue, unless your eyes are deteriorated a lot as well... but if the ones like me don't tell, nothing would ever change to the better icon_exclaim.gif

This literally is the same issue I have with Win 10's Metro UI and nobody can understand me... for me the best one visually still would be XP's Luna UI because of it's plenty of colours coupled with the visual rendering effects of Win 7 luna-trcv.png

Thanks for fixing the sidewinder helmet sounds. It's a small thing but I appreciate how quickly it was addressed.

No problem, and thank you for the report.

Hey, what's up with the Harrier CTDs? No mention on a fix for them. Honestly it's a bit disrespectful from Rabzam at this time.

More than any other thing that pertains to the body it partakes of the nature of the divine." — Plato, Phaedrus.
