HiJack
Well played orange team! Was certainly a hard fought and tough match. Thank you Rage  No Tacview track?
Frostie
51st server Joint Warrior 3 Red vs Orange 8th Nov 2014 TACVIEW http://www.mediafire.com/download/vdat3c93p1dcoc1/JW3_Red_v_Orange_ACMI.txt.rar TRACK http://www.mediafire.com/download/hy96d8ijd25hh9p/JW3_Red_v_Orange_TRACK.rar There were a lot of hiccups in this round, firstly it was delayed for an hour waiting for Orange team to come up with numbers to fill slots. Then after nearly everyone waiting in the pit for so long the server needed taking down to add more F-15s for Orange, then at the second attempt we realised there was not enough Flankers for Red so I added more, uploaded to the server then instead of restarting the server I just loaded the new mission, in hindsight this was a bad choice. This is probably what caused an issue with there being no ground targets. They are listed in tacview but for some reason not visible. As far as how the round went, Orange took off at the start and pushed for Gudauta whilst Red took off with the arranged 5 minute delay then pushed to Gudauta, a 10-15minute engagement took place between the two where several aircraft from both sides were shot down. Then Orange RTB'd whilst Red controlled the airspace over Sukhumi while their strikers searched for ground targets. It was at this moment that we realised the lack of ground units except an aircraft sat on Sukhumi. The impact of no ground targets at Sukhumi and Sochi only affected Red as Orange never reached Gudauta, while Red controlled Sukhumi for a large portion of the round. It was quite frustrating. HiJack
..issue with there being no ground targets. They are listed in tacview but for some reason not visible. I did get this bug a couple of times on my dedicated server and suspected the /pause /resume commands in Servman. I have not had the issue after deciding to reload mission just before start and then not use /pause /resume. Maybe something to look in to/or test. Thank you for the files.
Gaanalma
in the 36°, we have solved this problem by bringing the client 1 min after the start of the mission. In this way, the DCS charging units IA without the input of the client interfere. THX Frostie for ACMI. A word of advice! If you save ACMI, takes up much less space! JunMcKill
Hi Flankenator, Maverick and Frostie I have an idea to be considered by you, as you know we like to fly DCS closer to reality as possible, not only in terms of simulation, but the area of operations as in real life, so I propose that in the next Joint warrior put 14 vs 14, the game will only have 13 aircraft vs 13, but the individual will be as ground controller, this person can not move land units (you can edit that in mission editor) and will be like GCI and chief operating officer with the FOG OF WAR only, in the air for each side will allow an AWACS and one EW radar for backup in case you destroy the AWACS. I think the idea is good, and the server will only have 13 vs 13 fighters. regards, RuSh

We could implement that back again in future JW events. As for the numbers, we plan to keep increasing the limit incrementally to keep things safe stability-wise. Flankerator. Can you set in a prudent delay to the live feed? :) Yes, I was trying to see if that is ever possible on Twitch or other streaming services. Post-fight videos are also good but not as good as live streaming. I agree that delaying the live feed is a must. JunMcKill
Hi Flanker, I was looking the tacview file (the original on my PC, and the one posted offcial) and I have the situation that Ironmike AIM-120Cs exploded at 2.5km from my aircraft and I was destroyed, I replay my own track (with no lag) with exernal views and labels, and happened the same, both misiles exploded at 2 km from me and I was destroyed. I know DCS have lot of issues with the MP communication yet, but in this case is not fair, my aircraft was not lagging in any of the tracks and tacs I have seen so far. I recall that I perfectly saw the smoke trail of both missiles from the very beginning, and began evasing maneuvers, but anyway they destroyed me very far from the real point of activation! Regards, RuSh PS: If you need, if I can upload my track and my own tacview, anyway both have the same thing than yours. *Rage*
S! to all the squads and pilots involved. Was a very tense but enjoyable final. Whats great about these events is the cooperation between squads in achieving mission objectives. We worked very closely with UVAF and our strikers who performed admirably and were integral to Red Team victory. Our two strikers were exceptional to say the least. S! Frostie
51st server Joint Warrior 3 FINAL Red vs Blue 9th Nov 2014 TACVIEW http://www.mediafire.com/download/hzrj3mkn38u9z47/JW3_Red_vs_Blue_ACMI.rar TRACK http://www.mediafire.com/download/q6pvi4l1ols9hwr/JW3_Red_v_Blue_TRACK.rar Thanks to Maverick and Flankerator for organising another great event and also to all participants and squads 51st, 104th, UVAF, DW, 36, GR, 71st, EV57, TAW, 223rd and WRAG, thanks for taking part and making it a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The final, it was an extremely tough battle, going against the 104th F-15s is the toughest challenge out there, add in the 36 and GR guys gives a wealth of experience on both sides. You guys came from all altitudes and angles and just as we've seen before being victorious comes down to small margins, thankfully when the opportunity arose the DW Su25T guys are some of the best around. pYlot
Hello all, It was a nice fight yesterday. Unfortunately the Blue strikers did not get any of the fun, but next time. On yesterday's flight we only had to use our retreat capabilities. I hope next time I can present my full skill level. :) From the strikers point of view Saturday's flight was better. Not only because I could get an F-15 kill... with a Maverick. :D This way, I'd like to express my greatest gratitude to my host the 104th squadron. You guys were a long time ideal for me and it was a great honor to fly with you guys!
