C-101 update

The CC is been completed along with the EB rear cockpit. All new items you see implemented for EB are been integrated in CC also of course when required. So the CC will be completed after finishing the EB rear cockpit integration. All in all, the CC needs rear cockpit as well as EB.

I wanted to say "thanks" for the recent updates. I've been flying the C101 again, and I have to say that the new cockpit improvements and interactions are quite well done! Good job so far!

So, what is the status on the EFM? :)

AFM/EFM: Our FM coder is reworking the code as we were not happy with the results. We are using of course real airplane data to implement the flight model. This will take still some time, but at the end we expect to have a model that complies with real aircraft performances.

Backseat in multiplayer: Our systems coder is currently busy finishing navigation systems. After that he will most likely take care of multiplayer.

CC: Our systems coder will take care of what's missing in CC after completing the tasks described above.

As you all know, since we already said it several times, we changed the systems coder and our new coder had to restructure/redo most of the code and that took a lot of time, now that this is completed things should work much faster. We are the first ones that want to finish the C-101 to be able to concentrate in the Mirage F1.

BTW, we want to introduce you our new web page, as we were only using Facebook until now. So with this post we make www.aviodev.com officially public.

It is still much in its first stage, we will go on adding content with time, as we advance with the CC and Mirage F1, as well as other kind of content that could be of interest.

Haven't you planned to release CC before you do EFM and shared cockpit features? Can't say I'm happy with another push back of the armed version.

Hardware: VPForce Rhino, FSSB R3 Ultra, Virpil T-50CM, Hotas Warthog, Winwing F15EX, Slaw Rudder, GVL224 Trio Throttle, Thrustmaster MFDs, Saitek Trim wheel, Trackir 5, Quest Pro

Having the CC before EFM with weapons would be a terrible thing to do, Modules dont take 2 weeks to make, Please dont make them shut up shop with communication (Its why devs hide)

You could ask the question: Could you not release it with the current EFM and adjust it in time with patches?

That was the original schedule when I bought the module 19 months ago, hence my question. Aviodev planned to release CC first, then work on EFM.

Gosh, no. I don't want another bugged EFM like VEAO Hawk, thank you very much.

Dear Friends:

We’ve being working on C-101 module during these last weeks.

The new external model is almost finished and we can proudly say that a high precision has being used for its development, based on real airplane documentation as well as on our own high quality photos and videos of the airplane.

This model will be available soon, and it will also include new CC model liveries.

On the other hand, we’ve added the C-101EB checklist to the kneeboard, though it’s a provisional one until we make a stand-alone kneeboard.

We are now working to finish rear cockpit, which will include an IFR flight training hood.

At the same time, we are working to make Multiplayer functional.

TACAN is already available for any DCS World scenery, and we’ll soon start working to make VOR/ILS functional in Nevada and any future scenery.

You may see screenshots of our new model liveries in our web page www.aviodev.com.

Last week’s changelog was the following:

- Fuel reset knob animation was inverted.

- DRM button added to Module Manager.

- Reworked EB stall system test and indication (AOA/STALL warning light will now lit only when stall system is OFF or when the system is in test. Normal system operation, when AOA is over limit - pedals vibration and sound. RESET/OFF/TEST switch was made springloaded for both positions).

- Implemented rear cockpit Korry buttons (ESS bus transfer, L/R battery isolate, Emergency aileron disconnect).

- Added the following clickability/indication in rear cockpit: GPU korry button, fuel tanks red/green flags, fuel quantity indicator, fuel panel korry buttons, ignition light test, engine computer and engine antiice korry buttons.

- Fixed cockpit mechanism.

- Removed -1000 ft limit for altimeters.

- Reworked ejection seat model and labels.

- Updated autostart sequence.

-Fixed and finished all cockpit texture.

- Now GPU can only be connected by using radio menu, deleted its keyboard function.

- Re-saved Quick Start and Single Caucasus missions to avoid hang on restart.

- Fixed problem with the front cockpit being clickable from the rear one.

- Fixed cockpit specular texture.

- TACAN will work in all theaters now.

- TACAN panel animation and clickability updated.

- TACAN ID audio can be switched on/off now via intercom in the rear cockpit.

- Terrain masking is correctly accounted now.

- AA TACAN is functional now.

- Test function was fixed, automatic self-test function was added (starts after 3 sec timeout, when TACAN station signal is lost). Test function can be interrupted by selecting another channel, or switching mode dial to another mode.

Estimados amigos:
