That is not "copy / paste".....
I never said it is and its not sarcasm at all lol

I was just pointing at those angry Hornet jockeys on prev other thread who overly pesimistic on how ED would implements TWS for Hornet after Viper.

Viggen has had it for a couple of years lol - re A2G radar.

Only one problem as soon as you turn it on it kills frame rates ridiculously so - the fact that ED havent attempted it yet does make me wonder if they know something we dont...

Hornet ground radar isn't necessarily the same as the Viggen's :music_whistling:

I agree with you Nooch. It appears that ED has a different path for implementing the A2G technology. It will likely set the framework for other developers to use down the road. I would not be surprised if the Viggen gets a rework to implement ED's A2G tech.

There is a difference between the core AG radar rendering technology and the implementation of that tech to a specific pod. The latter just started.

Thanks

6+ months.

Ok, im not interested of these features anyway. I will just switch to JF-17 from today. No more EA from DCS, no more waiting 3+ years. Deka is the best, thats the right way - we will have complete aircraft from day one.

The JF-17 is certainly much more fleshed out upon release, but far from being completed, as you can see here. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=256708

I'm not knocking on it at all, I'm looking forward to it and IMO these bugs and details are very reasonable (and their list is most welcome) for an EA release. Just keep in mind that all modules, either coming from ED or 3rd parties will likely launch with stuff missing and/or placeholder implementations.

The vCVW-17 is looking for Hornet and Tomcat pilots and RIOs. Join the vCVW-17 Discord.
