As you can see in the center-top of the images now are about 30000, that number include hidden geometry used for the study, but the tail is not complete in model and other details must be created to have a good model...keep in mind the cuts for the control surfaces...other...and after all a complete overhaull to reach the best model mesh.
My prediction is around 45-55000 tris.
Bye
That's amazing! So smooth surfaces with not a lot of polys... Keep up the good work!

It's the work to do .

Add details=sure add polys

redefine each mesh = less polys or not

Only at the end you can know how is the "weight" of a model in polys.

I'm trying to do a good work for free, and if one day this work raise itself in a "sale-module" i can do more (i keep a 5-10% margin on the surfaces beauty and the actual position of the objects, it seems right).

Today little details and mesh redifine, specially on the twin oil-cooler mesh (look previous pics to see the difference, now is more accurate and near the real plane profile.

Thank you, I appreciate it.
Step by step, i remove the sketched surfaces with the semi-definitive ones.

Today no news or pics, only export test to DCS.
The model looks very good in Model Viewer, the tools is very usefull to manage all the mesh trouble or similar.
No pics for now,but believe me,we can do it.

Great, i believe it , seeing what you've been able to do until now, is coming out a beautiful job dedicated to a beautiful airplane.

Added front canopy frame/moulding details.
Tail general shape completed and ready for cuts/details works.
Local fuse shape adjustment and mesh redefine.

The model is also ready for the texturing first studies,i will work for the first UV map test next week, just colours and test camouflages to see how the light moves on the surfaces.

Bye.
