Man imagine how much more the JSF would be hated if the F-32 had won instead of the F-35 :D

You can say a lot about the F-35, but it sure is prettier than the F-32.

You really can't polish a turd. I work at the plant where the composite structures for that were made (as well as b-2 & f22) and even tho the x-32 was way before my time here, people who were around at the time said there were a lot of difficulties trying to fabricate what monstrosity did get out

(If i remember right, they were trying to make the who upper skin of the wing, from wingtip to wingtip..or it may have been the whole upper fuselage...as one single layup to be cured in an autoclave all at once, eventually they had to give up and break it down to subassemblies, i can't remember-its been awhile since I've heard the stories)

Those are nice photoshops, but thats all... Also it looks extra stealthy with all those external stores...

Perhaps not, but it knows a thing or two about making bombers and composite structures. As i mentioned, b-2& f-22 both came out of my plant, as well as a plan to rewing the a-6s till that got canceled

This USED to be true but during the JSF tender Boeing absorbed McDonnell Douglas thereby becoming one of the most experienced manufacturers of combat aircraft. To this day it manufactures the F-15 and F-18.

That is correct, and it would have been great if it had of worked but it was a technology in its infancy at the time.
