some1 Posted July 17, 2019 Share Posted July 17, 2019 This thread reminded me of an interview with Lee Archer (from Tuskegee Airmen) that I watched recently: As I understand, this "fake and unrealistic" adjustment was so common in real life that after all those years the guy remembered about it and he actually said that "most"(?) pilots there tried to set it to their liking.
