-Hammer-
Hello you Cockpit Builders out there! I want to join the club, but run into my first problem  I tried to connect a three way switch (ON-ON-ON) for the IFFCC Switch (OFF-TEST-ON) and bought this switch: APEM 644H/2 (DPDT) http://eu.mouser.com/search/ProductDetail.aspx?Apem%2f644H-2%2f&qs=%2fs1LKTamv0z1Fm2vV5nWZw== to work with a Leo Bodnar BBI-32 Board. ON-ON and ON-OFF-ON switches are working like they should It has 6 Pins and I have no clue how to wire them.... The Pins are numbered like this: Top Row: A1 | B1 Middle Row: A2 | B2 Upper Row: A3 | B3 Is this the right switch for my project? cichlidfan
If all three positions of the IFFCC switch have separate commands within DCS (I don't recall at the moment) then you should with A1-B1 to one Bodnar (switch and ground) and do the same for the other two pairs of contacts (keeping the like numerals together). -Hammer-
That was quick, but @cichlidfan: The IFFCC has separate commandos but A1-B1, etc. is not working. @debolestis: Thanks for the picture, so in my case A1 is Top Left and B6 is bottom right corner. This is what I am going to do: 1. Connect A1 with B6 (check) 2. Where do I but the ground wire(s) + the other 3 wires? I am completely lost Windows 10 | i7-8700K@5GHz | 2080 Ti | Intel Z370 Chipset | 32GB RAM@1866 MHz | SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 1TB| Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS w. debolestis
Sorry I thought you have BU0836A. I don't know if this will work but try. You forget diodes. Connect Column 1 to B1 (for example on you board), row 1 to ground next to B1. Connect Column 2 to B2 on board row 2 to ground next to B2. Connect Column 1 to B3 also. Row 2 to ground next to B3. I have never worked with this board, probably it is not necessary to connect all the grounds to board, but just in case... If all grounds are real grounds this probably won't work. Probably could have double press. Please test and let us know. - Debolestis' Shapeways store - Debolestis' Facebook page - Suncom SFS and Talon restoration and mods - Cougar replacement gimbal
-Hammer-
I get double presses in windows, its like this: 1 2 1+3 and DCS just recognizes Button 1 and Button 2 Windows 10 | i7-8700K@5GHz | 2080 Ti | Intel Z370 Chipset | 32GB RAM@1866 MHz | SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 1TB| Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS w. Sokol1_br
If the GND are common in BBI32 you can try: imagur The red trace is a wire bridge between A3 and B2. GND is connected to A2. BBI32 button 1 = A2+A1 BBI32 button 2 = A2+B1 BBI32 button 3 = A2+B3 Edited September 18, 2015 by Sokol1_br
