DrDetroit
I've setup a nice little free flight where all my ACs are in the air or taking off all over the map. So if I jump in the Huey, the SU-27, F-15 flight or even the A-10 I could have taken is now AI controlled and flying during the mission. Gives nice amount of air traffic and other things going on and nice amount of ambient chatter from the AI flights. Anyhow, I have a f-15 and SU-27 flight coming out of Nellis, however when the SU takes off (in this case after the F-15 flight) the F-15s in the air immediately shoot down the SU-27s, because the SU is considered the Red Force. I've scoured the Mission Editor and can't locate the setting where I can set which country is on which side (BlueFor and OpFor). Can someone point me in the proper direction as to where this can be changed. Thanks, DrDetroit Edited December 5, 2015 by DrDetroit
cichlidfan
You have to select new under mission. This will take you to a screen where you can define affiliation of countries. feefifofum
Hey Detroit. When you create a new mission, a list of countries appears. You can highlight a country and click the colored arrows at the top to change that country's faction. If your mission is already complete, you have to edit a line of code inside the .miz file to change it after the fact, but I can't remember which exactly. Dig around the mission builder's forum and you should find what you're looking for. THE GEORGIAN WAR - OFFICIAL F-15C DLC
Bewsher
Click on Airport then top right where coalition is and change there in a new mission.

In the mission editor click on File and select New, you will then be able to change the coalitions. I'm not sure how to change it after the mission has been created. DrDetroit
Got it, thanks guys. Helpful as always! I'll see if I can't locate this setting for changing mission I already made via your suggestions. If not, just have to make a new Familiarization Flight. blaueente
There was a Mod for 1.2/1.5 for changing Coalition in an already built version. Alternatively one can edit directly in the .miz using notepad++
ENO
There is also a way to go into the game files and add the individual aircraft (or any type of hardware / infantry etc) to a particular country... So for example in this case you could just add the SU27 (et al) over to "United States" so it appeared in the list of available aircraft when you build the mission. It's very easy to change- if that's what you want to do. Otherwise the coalition change can work as described above. "ENO" Type in anger and you will make the greatest post you will ever regret.
