Replacing Warthog Throttle rubbers

Recommended Posts

Dear all,

does anyone have a guide how to replace the rubbers of the Warthog throttle (at the bottom end, the ones which control the friction)? Mine are quite worn out and I bought new ones from TM. They haven´t arrived yet, but I wonder how I can get the tension off the spring to replace them. I didn´t find anything in the internet, maybe someone here has something for me.

Thanks,

Xoxen

Many thanks, this is exactly what I was looking for. They didn't mention it to me.

Did you simply ask for a replacement per mail or does TM have some kind of an online shop for spare parts?

I simply asked for a replacement via online support. They reacted very quick and I had a good and pleasant conversation. I also asked for some additional parts and they opened a cloud folder for me to upload some picture to be sure I get the right ones quoted. I´m very satisfied with the TM support.

I didn´t get numbers, but have the correct TM name for it:

- Hotas Warthog Friction Pads (rubber parts which consist out of a pair)

- Hotas Warthog Friction Ring (white part on the picture)

- Hotas Warthog Pressure Ring (black part on the picture, mine shows cracks)
