Same here. But sometimes it's logged several minutes before the actual CTD.

Hey HB have you taken in to account a problem with targetting western planes as reason for the ctd? On the big mp servers the f14 is often faced against F18 and F15. Planes that jester sometimes calls out friendly and kills that the dcs scoreboard also doenst count correct.

It seems that random JESTER actions cause CTD as well. That, or something audio wise may be missing. Putting in my dcs.log here:

CTD again while giving a Jester command this time....not in combat/ multiplayer server blue flag

 

Reinstalled F14 / Repaired dcs/ no mods / shaders and fxo deleted every patch/ no crashes in any other module for month

 

System 7700k 4,5ghz, 32gb ram, 2080 ti, ssd

Still getting CTD in MP, only with PAL. Getting Frustrating now as its not fully usable and no fix in sight. As much as I love the Aircraft I really wish there was a refund option.

And again...in a fight with an F18...+ the radar repeater is bugged once in a few flights aswell...so basically its really rare to get a normal flight now.

 

Please offer a refund option...even early access is not ment to be simply not playable.

Had 2 crashes this evening using the F14 in Air to Air Combat in Multiplayer (GAW) and had JESTER as Rio.

1st when I squeezed the trigger after STT locking an enemy (phoenix missile) and the 2nd time when I was chasing a bandit using pilot lock and squeezed my trigger to fire a Sparrow.

 

 

DCS didn't give me a crash log in the folder.

If dcs doesn't error log it check event viewer, windows will likely have an application error report for the crash, the F14 crashes I've had seem to be NTDLL issues if that helps at all Heatblur though at least 1 was 'unkown' on 5e faulting module info.

 

But given how unstable 2.5.5 is at times honestly it's hard to tell if it's the F14 at times or DCS itself.

Another crash. PGAW. Wasn't even using a radar mode or shooting at anyone when the crash happened.

I've also been experiencing the crashes as well. It's always CTD, but after the initial Jester fixes it was somewhat rare. The recent patches however, have essentially made the aircraft unflyable. I can't get through a single flight without a CTD.

This latest crash flight took place on Blue Flag Persian Gulf. I took off from Bandar Lengeth with the typical 4 PH, 2 SP, and 2 SW load-out for CAP. I wasted one Phoenix (maddog) against incoming ordinance (JSOW I believe). A few minutes later I shot down an F/A-18 just south of Abu Musa. I used TWS and only STT locked the aircraft shortly before impact to confirm the kill with the TCS camera. Afterward I started a 270° right hand turn to create distance and come around to check the eastern side of Abu Musa from which I received 18 RWR spikes. It was during the turn in which the crash occurred.

Every second flight i do ends with a CTD. No special action noticed causing this.

 

Can't guarantee the F14 or/and multiplayer mode is to blame, because it's the only plane and mode i fly. But will look closer now.

This is so weird a bug - my buddy and me play MP pretty much every second day now, and I never ever had one CTD in the F-14 so far. Here's to hoping they manage to nail it down.

Afer last week's quick update and ran the repair function of DCS I haven't had a CTD since, before that I had twice in a evening and couldn't even complete a single sortie which included combat.

 

Will have to fly some more time in the Tomcat to be sure though.

This is so weird a bug - my buddy and me play MP pretty much every second day now, and I never ever had one CTD in the F-14 so far. Here's to hoping they manage to nail it down.

 

you play with jester? or is your buddy also your RIO?
