I also experienced 3 CTDs with flying F14 yesterday. All three was flying low level on deck. Where can I find a log file?

I have had multiple crashes in MP with F14. The game just closes and throws me to desktop. I tried to attach log but it was to big. Ill post the last part below.

I had 3 more CTD tonight in mp. Every one was right when I locked a target in PAL mode. One was a friendly 25T. Other two were F18s. All player controlled.

I then made a SP mission and locked many many targets using PAL mode. No CTD. Go figure. Definitely something with PAL mode. Just haven't figured out the combination.

Tomorrow I will try to get logs and small trk file when I join a mp mission and can duplicate.

Mine seem to be happening when I'm low and getting shot at by SAMS. And, CTD always seems to be preceded by Sound error in the log.

Getting consistent crashes with f14 in MP. It's such a shame because it's such a great module, and it's always in the middle of an exciting mission. Hope we can find the cause! :)

Dunno if this is any help, the uploader tells me the log is an invalid file?

Anyone CTD with PAL in single player? I only get the CTD in MP. Haven't figured out the other parameter with PAL that is making it crash though. Maybe enemy Jammer? Been away all week and havent even dowloaded the update yet.

just happened to me when STT locking with jester. Did not use PAL, STT locked using the menu. Getting really frustrated with this...might take a break from the 14 for a little while

Had three consecutive crashes all in the same circumstances, MP with a human RIO (me), pilot switches to PAL and gets a lock on something that is overlapped with ground returns, RIO crashes. No logs. Seems if PAL is used over water there are less or no issues but this doesn't happen all the time over land either, perhaps it only happens when two returns are perfectly overlapping ?

I've had a fourth one where I crashed when switching from P STT to PD STT by pressing the button for PD STT, target was over water. MP and human RIO (me), no logs.

Fifth one when pressing the PD STT button after having hooked a track (over land) on the TID and getting a succesful PD STT lock. MP and human RIO (me), log for n°5 is attached.

I'm thinking it's got to do with ground clutter because my chances of crashing when locking over sea are considerably lower (like 5% of times when locking using PAL or going STT) compared to over land where I crash 50% of the time. Didn't try to lock a targets above, someone if they have time should do extensive testing trying MLC in or MLC off, higher or lower, over land or over sea, this could nail it down.

Anything new on this? There goes no day without seeing people complain on Blueflag server that there F14 CTD´s all the time...i dont even bother trying anymore thb.....its a pain preparing everything and then just crashing for weeks.
