GunnyCook
Would be really nice to have a unit formation option that saves the positions of said units the way i place them on the map. Sometimes i would like, for example, a wide staggered formation moving across open ground, or maybe a a group of tanks in a large diamond with AA backup in the centre or random spacing driving along a road. GunnyCook
I get that, what i would like is for the created formation to "traverse" as it is laid out. You can create Unit Templates for that purpose .. for example, these are templates for realistic formations: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=82161 The thread is old, but the Templates function is still available .. see page 346 of the DCS User Manual 2020.
