Contact409 Posted May 19, 2019 Share Posted May 19, 2019 NCTR needs the radar to point target`s inlet so the radar beam can read the turbine fan characteristics. so NCTR has certain aspect angel requirement while you in the offense position, radar cannot "read" into the inlet. but just like Bimbac said, you can use visual ID by that range, why would you need NCTR ?
