This carrier needs some parked aircrafts and crewmen! :)

 

▲ those never were problems

you can add external models on external models what is linked to another external model :smilewink: and so on (weapons on aircrafts which parked/placed on the carrier deck/hangar bay, elevators etc. - or of course other vehicle, crew, auxiliary thing on corridors, balconies etc. )

this is lua only but needs resolute and unswerving person (to do these precisely)

Oh well...keep pressing on.

 

That said....wondering if non functioning ground radar would be a gate for early access?

 

Enjoyed seeing the carrier and 1 wire trap...looks great. Looking forward to post E3 videos hopefully showing more views of the carrier and hornet with some external views!!! Nice job Panther.

Hey MegOhm you may have missed this part...

 

Yes, the AG radar picture itself works. It is not integrated into F/A-18 displays yet.

 

There seems to be substantial progress still.

Anyone at E3 able to get more intel on the Thrustmaster products? i.e. will the Hornet stick be sold as a separate item to the base, such that Warthog owners can have both interchangeable (and don't have to invest in another full stick setup?)

Secondly, is it likely they will do Hornet throttles as well? Someone mentioned the F/A-18 throttle HOTAS is essentially the same as an A10C, which is false. The elevation wheel, a much better TDC etc. make it a different beast...(granted you could get away with it but radar handling would suffer)

 

It is a Thrustmaster stall after all..

Why would one not want personnel and aircraft on the carrier deck?

 

▲can be a FPS killer. except with smart LOD settings (bit more difficult with LOD in the edm file. easier as external LOD setting by LUA)

I can see Thrustmaster coming out with a throttle for the F-18C. My assumption is that they didn't have it far enough along to even show a teaser.

That's for this unveiling. They could very well have a full setup like the HOTAS Warthog down the road. This could be just a stepping stone to get there.

Just remember, prior to this event, there was no "hint" of an F-18C stick for DCS either.

Prior to the event, no there wasn't. I also include the Thrustmaster announcement of the event as the event.

 

Prior to that there was no hint, anywhere, that such a thing was coming. According to all Thrustmaster official announcements a new high-end stick wasn't planned until 2020.
