Ryder35
HI all, Having an odd problem. I am trying to learn weapon deployment in 2.x and 1.5x. I can set SPI to waypoint and slave the TGP to the SPI with China Hat fwd long. Sometimes though the TGP cursor will refuse to slew from there. It usually works initially and then stops so I suspect I am hitting a button that locks it in place but I can't seem to work out what it is. The TDC is SOI on the right MFD but it just refuses to slew. Please help it is driving me nuts as you can imagine!
kylekatarn720
There is no button for locking any cursor in place. You are probably trying to slew the tgp without setting it SOI first. Although if i were you i would check the controls menu and confirm your slew axis or buttons are working properly.
Ryder35
Thanks, that is what I thought as well. Definitely setting the TGP as SOI (square box around the MFD) Slew is set to default on WH throttle and works for all other SOIs eg hud and maverick. kylekatarn720
Maybe you can post a video or track file when it happens. Oh and did you try the slew buttons when it happens, to rule out any fault on the hardware.
Ryder35
Thanks going to keep investigating and will try the slew buttons as well.
Ryder35
After experimenting more it may be user error! I think it was just scrolling very slowly due to it being zoomed all the way in on the narrow setting. Will play some more and update if necessary. Thanks kylekatarn
