moespeeds Posted July 28, 2019 Share Posted July 28, 2019 I already kind of know the answer to this, it just doesn't work. Is there anything we can do to get non-radar units to engage air targets at night? I tried setting the alert to red, and unit skill to excellent. Despite having a full moon and clear sky, AAA and other vehicle units not targeting with radar will not fire. Same goes for IR sams and manpads. Pretty lame, really kills night missions. Due to the nature of the mission, it's cumbersome to add "fire at zone or unit" triggers. I am open to any suggestions if anyone has any tricks here. Placing a Sborka in with the AAA may also help coordinate their fire; can't remember if that's only Shilkas or everything. Ditto MANPADS commander.
