No SPI when GMT ground target locked and carrying only A/A ordnance.

i was carrying only SD-10s and a SPJ. Locked a ground target in GMT and no SPI appeared on the HSD. Is this correct?

To expand on this, why does the current SPI/waypoint only display on the HSD in NAV mode but not in AA/AG mode?

Like the earlier issue with the datalink not showing data on the HSI when in AG mode, is this simply a omission in the current modelling of the avionics?

If it is the case with the actual JF17, it would be great to see the current SPI/WPT marked on the HSD in all modes, not just NAV.

The SPI (wp40) is not.

The point that actually allows you to compare where your pod or radar is looking relative the map, flightplan or radar threat when the SPJ is fitted.

If you mean the small blue diamond for some weapon on the HSD, it's the weapon current targeting point(including SPI and PP) for certain type of weapon.

In AA mode, the SPI is bound to A2A targets, so the SPI is not on the ground, there is no meaning showing the blue diamond on HSD.

In AG mode, the blue diamond is showed for certain wpn to visualizing the actual targeting point. Basically these AG wpns have long range(LS6 GB6 C802AK) and not easy to VID the targeting point on HUD, so HSD targeting point is showed to help the pilots to confirm the target and also the DLZ.
