Ktulu2 Posted November 26, 2016 Share Posted November 26, 2016 Contrail will vary depending on the humidity and the temperature of the air : the colder/the more humid the air is, the lower you will contrail. So yeah, altitude varies, I remember contrailling at 5000' at -30°C.
