I agree, the colors look warmer.

here's an example, maybe it's just my eyes, but I see blue in everywhere. Especially the shadows.

Yes I see it too. But only on shadows of tanks and buildings in other screenshots. The trees dont have it. But dont worry. Tiny teaks here and there is an ongoing thing in DCS.

OMG. The lighting in this shot looks amazing. The green glow from the HUD on the combiner elements is just awesome. Looking forward to see the dynamic PBR. Great job ED!

Are you monitors colour calibrated to industry standards?

In fact yes, it is, as well as gamma

I agree, the colors look warmer.

here's an example, maybe it's just my eyes, but I see blue in everywhere. Especially the shadows.

Thats exactly what I meant, even more noticeable in this screen, in the tanks and the houses to the left:

but if its due to some models not updated to new lighting then nothing to say

Btw, the screen that looks the best to me to date in terms of lighting is this:

Love it!! and also noticed the new hud light effect in the canopy frame, very nice!, hope to see the PBR system soon!!

Holy crap Wags and crew, pat your selves on the back this is literally gorgeous! Question will us in Vr see this new amazing lighting aswell? Either way may have to do some 4k exploration again freaking gorgeous! Also have you guys incorporated or thought about putting in HDR 10 support?

I take this as it just means we are getting very close to pre-purchase.

We have four more weeks to go to the end of Q1.

The goal was By the End of Q1...Correct?

Why expect it earlier that that?

The trailer will no doubt be awesome.

Trailer will probably come in the next week or so, if not earlier with Pre-purchase following closely.

If Wags says "Awesome Trailer" I believe he has already previewed some of it.

I have faith We will be installing the Normandy module by March 31st, the official end of Q1.

Anything earlier is a bonus.

My hope is for this week :)

The goal was By the End of Q1...Correct?

If this is true, based on the trend of pre-purchase lasting a month, there will need to be an announcement in this weekends news.

Why expect it earlier that that?

I honestly don't expect it any earlier.

The trailer will no doubt be awesome.

How fast can GA crank out a trailer? My hope he has been working on it for some time and putting the finishing touches for this weekend! :D

If Wags says "Awesome Trailer" I believe he has already previewed some of it.

All of GA's trailers have been A1! I don't expect the quality to drop with this one either.

I have faith We will be installing the Normandy module by March 31st, the official end of Q1.

I hope you're right sir.

Anything earlier is a bonus.

ED has surprised us before. Maybe we can get a pre-purchase with a release 2 weeks afterwards!:music_whistling:

Well if we dont see the pre purchase button by this friday, then i think the release will be delayed considering that pre purchase usually starts a month prior to release...

Personally i would prefer to see the livestream and see how its really looking and also running performance wise than to watch a fancy trailer...

Nevertheless it seems its getting closer and two weeks could acutally mean something soon

Only thing delayed is the stream...

Soooooooo it sounds like the map is on schedule. How about a time frame for a release then? :music_whistling:
