DCS World Update News

This Friday we hope to release 1.5.4 into the open beta. If after a week we see no blocking bugs in the 1.5.4 open beta, we will move it to the public build the following Friday. Once 1.5.4 is released to the public build, we plan to release the F-86F / MiG-15bis 3rd party campaign.

Following the update of DCS World 1.5, we will shift our focus back to DCS 2.0 for the next update.

Yes 2.0 getting some love in two weeks. lol

This point could use some more detailed explanation from ED but I would assume it's related to the so-called "net code". Might be it's addressing the warping - example link.

By the way is the update already live (DCS updater does not see it)? If not what is the ETA?

The IC is clear. :D But what's now new with the IC?

I wondered about the third, because nothing new to me. But I only play 2.0 since March. :)

Support of hot plug of input devices now

I guess this should work nicely with Thrustmaster software (which creates virtual joystick).

Hardware: VPForce Rhino, FSSB R3 Ultra, Virpil T-50CM, Hotas Warthog, Winwing F15EX, Slaw Rudder, GVL224 Trio Throttle, Thrustmaster MFDs, Saitek Trim wheel, Trackir 5, Quest Pro

Still no fix for the replay tracks sad.gif ...and why isn't the Mig-21 patch mentioned?

Although this set of patch notes looks pretty complete it's not uncommon for 3rd party patch notes to be left off, even when the changes actually do make it into the patch. The M2000c isn't listed there either but there were meant to be quite a few changes/addition to that in this patch aswell.

Hot Plugging is The Ability to plug in and unplug USB Devices while in the Sim without having to exit the sim and re-launch it to detect new input devices.

That's great since I forget to plug in certain things like :joystick: occasionally before I launch. So this is a good one.

Hot-plugging will also be nice when I forget to start a TARGET script after I've already launched DCSW. :D

Yep, that's exactly what TM software does. It plugs a new joystick when you launch profile.
