Newbie question

I am having problem damaging planes with 30 cal weapon (miss a lot) and I get a lot of "hits" with nose mounted 13 cal weapon but no kill.

Is there any tutorial on how to properly use weapons on K-4?

History is the best tutorial. Don't shoot until the target fills your whole windscreen. Or even closer if you like! :D

30 mm cannon has a very low muzzle velocity of around 540 m/s and quite curved ballistic trajectory. It's more like lobbing potatoes than shooting a gun :D.

I agree getting closer seems to be the only sure way to hit with it.

As for the machine guns - well, the old, primitve damage model we still have makes killing things with machine guns challenging. Not much can be done about it until new model comes.
